“We stumbled upon this bakery and got tempted with the 'Hong Kong' style baked goods. We were there around 2:30pm and by then most baked items were sold out. There were a few egg custard tarts left so we took the 'buy 5 and get 1 free' offer. And I must say they are legit HK egg custard tarts ! They still tasted good the next day.Next time we will try other items.“

Drove from Santa Monica to get the celebration cake at this location for my mom's birthday. I also picked up beautiful heart sparkler candles and cute mini party hats from the beautiful table set up with a variety of candles and last minute necessities for the occasion! Will definitely make the drive for the wonderful service and cake options!“
“First timer and I gotta say, not a lot of selection at the time we came (noon). Which may be a sign that this is a really good French cafe! Not much for seating and is located at n a busy street. Got the guava croissant and a regular latte. Looks like they make everything in house, as we were able to see their kitchen.“

Definitely toxic food for your liver and shortens your life.But here at 85C there are hidden gems! Try the Taro filled buns. Taro is so good for you and the 85C has a copious filling. Want to have something savory? Try the bacon cheese bun. I usually have it with a side of hard boiled eggs that I carry with me.Avoid the westernized croissants and chocolate buns. “My one and only bakery of choice for Mexican bread! They have the best Mexican bread, always so good and fresh baked! Luckily the times that we go there is no line but it does get filled up and a long line always forms behind us. We love to get the chilindrinas, rebanadas, tortugas, elotes and cuernos. They even have tortas which we have also ordered and those are good as well. If your looking for Mexican bread this the place for you!“
“The pastries in the window drew us to look at the menu. A sandwich sounded great but we ended up spitting the smoked salmon “toast” on sourdough. The price seemed silly but it was LOADED when it came out and we were thrilled. They warmed up our croissant too and we loved how airy it was. That was my first official sour dough of Cali and I loved it.“
