“We finally found a great Jewish bakery! Purim- The Hamentashen we bought from Pascal's were fresh and ever so flavorful! Passover- The coconut- chocolate macaroons were simply outstanding. We keep saying that these macaroons are infinitely better than any brand of macaroons from a grocery store. Without exaggeration, I can honestly say that Pascal's coconut-chocolate macaroons are the best we ever had. I like them even better than the gluten free flourless chocolate cake (for Passover)- which, by the way, was superb. Lunch - the Tuna sandwich and the avocado toast are symphonies of flavor! While these goodies are not inexpensive, they are absolutely worth every penny. The service is prompt and quick. The ambiance is that of a small European bistro. Hebrew is spoken alongside English here. There is a feeling of peace and community within Pascal's bakery. We can't wait to be back! If I could give 6 stars, I would gladly do so here.“

I was so confused by all the delicious stuff I didn't know what I wanted but Mia went absolutely above and beyond and definitely made me want to try everything! “Fresh cream, fresh strawberries, soft delicate white cake -- this birthday cake was sublime! They call it strawberry shortcake, but I don't know why as it is not short of anything. See my photos :) Our family have bought from Porto's for fresh birthday cakes -- and I'm not knocking Porto's as they are pretty great. But La Creme was easily as good or better, and price was $1 different than Porto's. No fussing with driving, parking, lining up. This is a charming store/small business. A really lovely lady assisted us with all the warmth of a family member we just hadn't met yet. The bakery is in the back, right corner of the strip mall everyone blocks while they are lined up to enter In' n' Out's drive through. We'll be back, La Creme! The cake was a big hit. Thank you“

“Finally have an 85 degrees in Ventura county! We always had to drive far to visit a store. Since it's new, the store is still looking clean with a lot of selection! There's so many pastries to choose from. If you're looking for a drink I would recommend the Taro Lavender latte! So delicious! Other than that, big store and easy to get what you want.“

“Greeted kindly from the second I walked in! The lovely ladies working there today (Wednesday) late morning/early noon made my experience worth the drive! Drove from Santa Monica to get the celebration cake at this location for my mom's birthday. I also picked up beautiful heart sparkler candles and cute mini party hats from the beautiful table set up with a variety of candles and last minute necessities for the occasion! Will definitely make the drive for the wonderful service and cake options!“
“I got the red velvet cake (and a couple Triple Berry Cake Jars) for my sisters birthday. I had never tried Sweet Lady Jane before- but it was amazing! The cake was soft and delicious, and the frosting was not as sweet as other cakes which is perfect. I served it with some fresh strawberries (a perfect addition). The Triple Berry Cake Jars are now a favorite of the household as well. My sister absolutely loved the cake too.I ordered the small size, and it was plenty for 5 of us, with about half left over (which will be eaten quickly).The shop is very cute and clean, and the staff are all extremely friendly and kind!I definitely need to try the pies next.“
“Ok- I thought I updated this review already! Anyways, I decided to order some sweets for Valentine's day for our employees (not many- but still they work hard!) We get to work at 5AM and leave at 3PM. So, I had the delivery for 8:00 AM. The baked goods were not only delicious, they were on time! Unfortunately the delivery person left the order outside of the door instead of knocking on the door for us to get the order. NOT ON PARIS BAGUETTE! Anyways, we will be definitely be re-ordering!“
“Situated in the middle of a busy strip mall, parking can be tricky. My first visit here was on a rainy Sunday afternoon. When you first enter, grab a tray and browse the many pastries and small sandwiches, pre-wrapped and ready to eat. We grabbed a few and then headed over to the register to pay and order drinks. The oolong tea was great but their hot chocolate is made with water, not milk which was disappointing on a rainy day like today. Prices are average but the selection of items is really fantastic!“

“Incredible experience from beginning to end : from the beautifully painted murals of Tuscany / a metal balcony to the beautiful smells of baking bread from their public facing ovens to the delicious foods from a very large menu: I recommend the potato chop /,it's deep fried potatoes surrounding meat that gives Porto's Potato ball a run for their money and is a delicious niche of this business: the massive and incredible breakfast sandwich which is so decadent in all the right ways : intense wonderful cheese and freshly sliced ham and the best bread: ( and this can easily be shared) the very complicated sauce that comes with the shakshuka is so multi layered that you want to eat it slowly in order to savor. The owner Joseph was incredible to talk to and provided nothing more than kindness and heart. We appreciate everything you do here and so happy to have discovered this spot : we felt welcomed like family.“
