Really liked this neighbourhood cafe on Montana. Tristan helped me today as I got the house made hazelnut latte. The coffee and service were both great, the ambiance is nice and clean, it's a good spot to come work from or hang out with a friend.

Primo Passo is usually busy with a few minutes of a wait but the ambiance for a coffee shop and people are amazing here! The coffee is even better, so it is worth the wait! I love their specials and their house made drinks and goodies.

Great coffee shop + lots of breakfast pastry options. I've never been here when there hasn't been a line - expect a ~10 min ish wait but worth it. Indoor and outdoor tables. No dogs inside.

Really amazing smooth cold brew. Vanilla iced latte (1/2 sweetener) is also amazing. They offer some pastries and juices as well. Some indoor and outdoor seating for people who want to hangout or WFH.

They Serve really Good Coffee and Pastries. Has parking in the back as well for your convenience. Highly recommend as a coffee lover. Must try instead of Starbucks which is located directly across .

Upon walking in, it was super busy with about 4-5 people in line. I noticed the aesthetic of the coffee shop first to be calm with lots of people sitting either working or studying. I believe they'd benefit from more seating, however. The matcha mint latte didn't have a regular peppermint taste but rather resembled an actual mint aftertaste, which I enjoyed. The hazelnut latte was tasty and not too sweet. The Nutella croissant? To die for. The strawberry croissant was recommended but dry and a bit hard. Parking was easy to access.
For all people who are passionate about coffee this place is a must! Pretty calm, located in a great neighborhood, delicious coffee, friendly people- I can go on for a while. I also heard they have great vegan desserts...tried Americano and Flat white and loved them! It tends to be packed on the weekend, so better plan accordingly!

This place used to be phenomenal, but something happened in the past year or so. Their lattes are now 7.25 and taste like condensed milk. Way, way too much milk. You can also tell when they pour your drink and it weighs 5 lb in your hand. I'm done with this place and you should be too.

The barista was very friendly and had an amazing attitude despite being incredibly busy. I had a very basic cafe late and a vegan blueberry coffee swirl muffin. They were both good. Primo has 1 gender neutral restroom and there was a bit of a wait to use it: went in to wash my hands and the restroom was tidy clean!

First visit while visiting Santa Monica. Very friendly service, nice setting, and most importantly the latte both my wife and I had were outstanding! Smooth as silk and extremely flavorful... Will probably order on line (although $19+ for 12 oz of beans is pretty pricey)... Got to pay for quality!
