We visited Marmalade on Montana Ave several times during our September holiday to Santa Monica. It is our very favourite place for breakfast and the service, food and atmosphere is always spot on. The menu is varied, the quality of the food I’d always consistently excellent and the prices are very competitive. The gluten free scones are a favourite with my partner and the cookies are awesome. Thank you to all the lovely, friendly staff for making us feel so welcome.
This is the second year we have visited marmalade! Both times we were served by Nikki (sp?) who not only remembered us the second year we went (even though it was nine months later), but was just as welcoming, kind and hospitable as ever. Stopped in on our way back home and for a quick cup of coffee and some breakfast. Great place with fresh food and great service. Their coffee is great, the bagels are legit and my son's breakfast tacos were fresh and tasty. If you're looking for quality food and good service at a fair price this might be your place.
