Nestled within the newly remodeled Georgian Hotel, The Restaurant at The Georgian is a true hidden gem with its Budapest-inspired decor and elegant ambiance.Upon entering, my wife and I were greeted by dim lighting and sophisticated surroundings that set the perfect tone for our dining experience. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff catering to our every need.We started our meal with the Georgian chop salad, a delightful combination of fresh ingredients that was both flavorful and satisfying. For the main course, we indulged in the New York Strip steak, cooked to perfection and bursting with juicy goodness.Although we were unable to experience the speakeasy downstairs due to its popularity, we look forward to visiting it on our next trip.Convenient valet parking at the front of the hotel made our evening stress-free, allowing us to focus solely on enjoying our dining experience. At $17 for three hours, it was a reasonable option for dinner guests.Overall, our experience at The Restaurant at The Georgian was exceptional, and we can't wait to return to explore more of what this hidden gem has to offer.

Beautiful restaurant and location, great service and high quality food. I ordered the omelet and I loved it. The bacon was thick cut and delicious too.

Excellent meal but the runner "James" was very hostile and confrontational

We were in a vacation and these are the type of places that I like to go to. Very warm and cozy atmosphere. The half roast chicken that was recommended by our server was absolutely delicious.

Had dinner here with colleagues and it was delicious. The ambiance is gorgeous. Now, it is dim and romantic. So reading the menu is hard to do.

Everything was sublime. How often can one really say that? The breeze coming off the beach at sunset was a bit chilly. No problem, though. The staff happily closed the windows and turned up the heaters. View remained intact. Food was thoughtfully presented by a chef who clearly loved good flavors. The tender grilled Octopus with bright citrus notes was a highlight. Even the Caesar was noteworthy in that it used a dusting of seasoned breadcrumbs rather than rough, mouth-slicing dried croutons. Our dessert, for those who would dare to order such a thing in Santa Monica, was fit for those who don’t like sweets. I’d come for brunch and dinner.Vegetarian options: Appealing vegetarian courses and sides, no settling for compromises here. But the menu does feature seafood and Italian meats as well. Our server noted my pescatarian comment in the reservation and steered me away from lentils with pork stock. Just speak up about your wishes.Parking: Easiest to valet, public garages are nearby, and plenty of metered parking on the surrounding streetsKid-friendliness: Not intended for young children, but for kids who like to sit at the grown up table, this would be a treat.

The front of house staff and hotel where lovely. The rooms didn't match, The paint jobs we're sloppy, bathroom small. It took 20 minutes for a waiter to offer us a menu. Hardly anything plantbased on the menu so ate elsewhere. Overpriced hotel in a very commercial area of Santa Monica

Beautiful Hotel! You step inside and feel like you stepped into the 20's / 30's time. Glamour, jazz, speak easy feel. Love it! We had an ocean front corner king suite. Worth every penny! Beautiful view, very spacious - like an apartment just without a kitchen. We had a roll away bed for our child and still had plenty of room. Large living area, dining area, separate bedroom, large bathroom. Everything was so clean and the staff was very nice. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Loved staying at this hotel! Newly remodeled in Art Deco style, this hotel provides a much more interesting experience than the very standard hotels in the surrounding area. Here, you get a real flavor of the history contained in this building but with a new trendy upscale vibe. Location is the best. Food was delicious! Loved the front terrace for outdoor dining with ocean views and peoplewatching on the street below. The secret speakeasy in the basement is a MUST-DO for great live music, outstanding food/drink, and superb ambiance.

The Georgian Hotel goes above and beyond for their guests from the moment you walk through their doors until you check out. This is our first time in Santa Monica and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. This hotel is not only stunning and located in the best part of the city, but the food + drinks are phenomenal, the coastal timeless vibe is unmatched and the staff is exceptional in every way possible. Rooms are so clean and well designed, I love that they kept some parts original which makes this hotel even more unique. The attention to details is unlike any hotels I've ever stayed at. I'm sad that it was only two nights. If you're planning a trip to Santa Monica, please do yourself a favor and stay here for the most unforgettable experience. I can't wait to come back again soon!!

Just a first-class experience all around. The remodel of this gorgeous art deco hotel is on point. The suite was gorgeous and well appointed with several wonderful touches (record player, top-notch honor bar, etc.) The service was equally lovely with helpful and caring staff. The location (one block from the pier, two blocks from 3d Street) cannot be beat. Will absolutely stay here again!!!

Such an amazing breakfast. Fantastic service, wonderful food and drink and a lovely setting. London restaurants take note, this is how it should be done! I cannot recommend this enough for a business breakfast location and will definitely revisit when back this way. Thank you to the staff.

I have been staying at a lot of different hotels in LA and nationwide, but I can assure that the Georgian was way far above them all. First, the design of the hotel is exceptional and super authentic to the Art Deco era, and they have been applying this aesthetic on every details and aspects of the building. Then, the team has been incredible with us. The level of service in this hotel is exceptional and the staff makes everything so easy and enjoyable for you. I was lucky enough to meet the general manager, Bre Smith, and a few other members of the team there, and you can feel instantly that they are genuinely passionate about the hospitality business, and are fully committed to giving to their guests the best experience. I also went two nights in a row in the speakeasy downstairs : you simply do not find these kind of places anymore. The vibe, the decor, the cocktails and the music curation is very unique, charming, glamorous. The Georgian Hotel is 100% the first place that comes to my mind when I need to recommend anything in LA.
