We came here while in town on the recommendation of a friend. Considering the area, the price point for the food and the portion sizes are a deal. We all got variations of meat pies and fish and chips and everything was very delicious. Staff was very friendly and well meaning;my only critique was that service was pretty slow to settle the bill, maybe they were understaffed that day. Regardless this place is worth.

I've been here multiple times and always have a pretty good experience. The staff are friendly, there's lots of seating, and I love all the cool items they have on display inside. The food can sometimes be lacking in seasoning/a little bland, but I do love their English breakfast. Their afternoon teas are so fun and cute as well! Also, the little store nextdoor is very cute and it's nice to walk around.

Quick update: Went here this past Sunday with a friend. Had our usual fish and chips and Bloody Marys. Had one piece of their classic batter and one of their beer battered fish. Both were good but I'll probably stay with the classic next time. The fries (chips) weren't as crispy as they usually are. The Bloody Marys were perfect. We sat inside as it was late afternoon and there was no way to avoid the bright sunlight shining in your eyes if we got one of our favorite patio tables....read full review
