OK, so there were warning signs, no lights on, on an overcast day, dingy appearance overall, but our hero thinks those famous words... "Be a sport, I'm just getting coffee, how bad can it be?" The woman behind the counter half-yells the first of 5 unintelligible complaints or insults at the wall. (I have widely traveled all of Asia and had no problems with language when both people are trying) I politely say I will wait for her task to be over and that I just want a coffee. This provokes a fresh, hateful, scowling epithet after which I wait another 5 minutes doing nothing. In the middle of mystery attack #4 , she points at 3 plastic pitchers of coffee and frowns and spits out "wa kai?". I point to one thinking, "where's Tracy Ullman when you need her?". The coffee is, of course cold, and I ask her "Can you put this in a microwave and make it hot?". This unleashes the last and most intense verbal derision, then she turns and walks away. I put the psuedo-coffee in the dirty dish tray on the cart, walked out and considered it charity for the mentally impaired.

I really enjoyed this family, run, neighborhood, Cafe, The owner is pleasant, the place is clean. Everything is made in house, and the coffee is good. I've had the breakfast croissant and the breakfast burrito, which were both decent but not exceptional. I've tried several of their croissant varieties, all of which were good and the ladies make a good latte. It will be a nice place to grab a sandwich or a snack with some good coffee and friends.

I've been wanting to try this place but I never could catch them open, they close at 3p. I stopped in for a ham & cheese croissant. It was good, I liked the ambience on the inside. They were closing so there was no one else there. They have tables and chairs in front just in case you want to eat outside. The 2 ladies were very nice and friendly. They have a large variety of croissants behind the counter for you to see and lots of different coffee carafes for you to help yourself. The prices are was very reasonable.

The spicy lovers egg sandwich is what good food is about. It is soo good. The lady today was by herself and she was friendly, fast, and it tasted so fresh and yummy. I can only eat half of one so I feel great. A whole one and your are risking a food coma. I'm glad I thought about them today and even though I don't need to go often I will start going once a month for a treat. Great place and I like it better than the chanate rd place. Clap back to the lady who called these ladies obnoxious. The reviewer is obnoxious. Thanks cafe de crossiont....so check on pastry thingy

Bad bagels - not boiled, came toasted without it being requested (could have been stale). Microwaved eggs with chunks of ham.

I ordered the Sonoma breakfast sandwich on a plain croissant. I got home to find the poorest excuse for a sandwich I've ever seen... On a burnt plain bagel. How? You have one job.Gross is a gross understatement.

Cant really call these croissants, more just bread lumps with a tiny bit of stuffing. Service was very very quick and friendly. My dog loved the remainder if the bread.
