This Deli makes good, large quality sandwiches. Sometimes, their bread can be a little on the dry side, but they put good quality meats and cheese on their sandwiches. I like the daily soups that they offer.

Placed a phone order.. came home and opened my sandwich all the bacon was completely burned. Called them and the girl that answered just gave an "oh..ok" And didn't offer to do anything about it.. just hung up. Other sandwich was decent and the guy who took the order was nice.

Got a recommendation from a friend and decided to stop by a couple weeks ago. First noticed a real clean shop and had great menu options. I had The Spicy Italian and had it on the onion roll, there are several fresh bread options. I remember that it was so good right from the first bite. So much flavor and freshness. I can't remember the last time I had an experience quite like that with a sandwich just from the first bite. Soooo Good! I will be back and you should go in too.

Holy Toledo awesome Sandwich best I have had in a long time!! You really MUST try the Italian Spicy Bar b que sandwich, just in my opinion the perfect amount of heat.....the bread was just as good as the sandwich. Friendly people working and Boars Head Sandwich Meats. Awesomeness will be headed back for the double pastrami sandwich. Try the fountain root beer as well on par with IBC root beer.Wasn't busy. Get 1 Free has a coupon for them! Friendly people Stellar Food!!
Tried yesterday for the first time, did make your own. With the onion roll, turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pickle and banana peppers. First off it was huge. My husband and I could have just shared one. But it was very fresh and tasty. We got them to take to eat later in the day. But will definitely go back and try one of the hot sandwiches.

Well I tried to get a chicken salad sandwich today. I was going to go through grubhub however it's just to experience. So I drove down. I get in and ask for a chicken salad sandwich and she stated the didn't have chicken salad. How does that happen. She stated they didn't have any canned chicken. I've been to both the El Cajon and Lakeside Deli Belly. I was quite surprised that the employees didn't seem to want to make the sandwiches more less Let the person who owns the place no that they didn't have canned chicken to make their chicken salad for the sandwiches or even the salads. I really love sandwiches. I'm glad to no that it's made with canned chicken not fresh . Food for thought when your at work just work. If you push away patrons that want to purchase the food one day you won't have a job to go to then you'll be really bored. That's just some food for thought.

$12.88 for a sandwich I could make at home served by a rushed dude with no idea how to process cash + credit. Just wanted to drain a gift card & try something new. Neither happened. To be fair, 10% better food quality than other sandwich chains but next time I am just grabbing tacos.
