“Great place with extensive wine options at reasonable price point, and amazing staff. Cute place with great food! Love the staff, everyone is attentive, friendly, and even when busy they are so accomodating. Food is great and they have specials from 4-5pm every day! Wine list is so long, and they offer a great deal if you want to try a flight. Sommelier is excellent at recommending things. Only one restroom, unisex/shared so don't wait till the last second! Parking in back, two spots in front and on street.“

“This place is one of the best kept secrets in Lakeside. I've lived here for over 15 years and never even knew about this place so when I ate here for the first time, I was floored. “still here at the moment. this place is a cozy, hole in the wall establishment. the smash burger they have here is intoxicating all on it's own, it literally melts in your mouth. I added some fries on the side and my drink of choice was the natural red wine. I paired these fantastic options with the outdoor seating that is located in the back. I chose this place because it's within walking distance of where I live. I'm glad it's nearby, because I'll be coming back again. It's my first time here by the way. 5 out of 5 ! Also, let me add that the music playlist they have in rotation is curated perfectly well. Good vibes to say the least.“

The combination of shrimp and crawfish sautéed in a sherry tomato cream sauce with capers and mushrooms creates a burst of flavors that will leave you craving for more. The pasta is perfectly cooked and topped with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese, adding a delightful touch to every bite. The dish is so delicious that it transported me into a ratatouille dream-like state, and before I knew it, my plate was empty! “I've been to many pizza places in SD. All of the popular spots like Tribune, sisters, friendlys, you name it. I've tried it. I don't know what BLAH does to their spicy prosciutto pizza but it is out of this world. The sauce is the best part, with the dough coming in as a close second. So flavorful, dough perfectly crispy and also flavorful. comes out consistently the same every time. I'd imagine their other red sauce pizzas come out with the same sauce and dough, but to be honest, I get the same pizza every time cause it's so good.“

“This off the radar place was a refreshing find one Saturday afternoon. Despite being a 90 degree day, it was very comfortable inside even with the windows and doors open. I was able to peek behind the scene where they were in the midst of crushing a recent grape harvest. As an amateur winemaker myself, it was great to talk shop with the staff who was friendly and knowledgeable (not just a pourer). Wines are diverse from traditional varietals to fusions and slushies. Food truck was getting set up when I was there but didn't try the food since this was a layover for another stop afterwards. Parking is scarce.“

“Celebrated my birthday on Saturday and truly enjoyed everything about the experience. I ordered a special pasta from Italy with prawns which I hadn't seen on the menu before and was wonderful. The dish was messy because I got into those prawn shells to get every last bite and waiter provided fresh hot towels to clean me up. Love the eggplant appetizer and bread which I get every time. The restaurant gave me an exquisite dessert as a birthday surprise. A lovely meal and my companions enjoyed their meals as well.“

“Pros: baristas are very friendly and the latte and breakfast burrito I had was pretty good. I also appreciate how many tables / seating they have.Cons: the music is very loud and gave me a headache. Not good for people with noise sensitivities. This also made it impossible to hear the person across the table from me because everyone around us was trying to talk over the noise of the music.“

The atmosphere is beautiful and it's nice we have this place in Jamul. The only downside is side is that the hours seem to be hit or miss which I assume is why they don't have more reviews. A new business needs to have set hours and be open 7 days a week to thrive in a small town.“

“We were craving some Greek food so we came here on the recommendation of a friend. Such a cute spot with pretty murals on the walls and some outdoor seating as well. The staff was so friendly and explained the menu to us and made some recommendations for our order. We tried: Greek Coffee Mythos Beer Appetizer Combo Grilled Halloumi Moussaka Greek Combo Plate w/ Chicken & Souvlaki Zeus Kabob Combo w/ Barg & Kofta Baklava The Appetizer Combo comes with veggies, olives & pita for dipping with hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouleh and tarmasalata (cream cheese w/onion & fish roe). The halloumi is perfectly grilled to delicious perfection. The moussaka is so dreamy and comes with a huge salad and rice as well. The meats here are so good, and come with garlic sauce and tsaziki for dipping. The baklava is the traditional Greek walnut cinnamon and so yummy. They do have some vegetarian and halal options here as well so you're sure to find something for everyone!“

“We rarely visit the Del Cerro area so I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across the KNB Bistro. I was apprehensive because some recent reviews had been spotty, but my wife and I had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back soon! We arrived a little after six on a Friday, and while they were busy, we were seated immediately. The bartender served us at our table and was prompt and on top of it all evening. We felt like the inside ambience was really cool with all the bottles on the wall and the retail selections...including some very special bottles. You could spend $15 or $1500 on a bottle here--whatever you're looking for. The wine list was good and fairly priced. Many choices in both red and white. I ordered the wings appetizer and it was really good. For dinner, I had the lamb lollipops and my wife had a chicken Caesar. I was pretty impressed with the lamb; I've paid considerably more for similar meals around the city. My wife's salad was good. I really have to emphasize how friendly and on top of things the staff was. We had a good number of check-ins and never la led for anything. I don't remember anybody's name but they were all great. So I probably give the food four stars, but the service and the ambience made it a five star experience. We will certainly be back here any time we are in the area.“
