“We asked to sit in a different spot because there was a large table and lots of loud talking. We were moved to the very last table at the end of the restaurant when there were four other tables in the row closer to the front available. When we left, the very first table in the long row was still vacant. I can understand if we did not have a reservation, but we did have one. The wait staff was excellent and the food was delicious. We didn't really appreciate being treated that way.“

“A what beautiful glass of rosé wine from the tap. The wine is fruity delicious and refreshing. I’ve tried tons of rose’ had my personals on their beautiful wooden encounter and I needed to have it all in the photo. This wine is just as beautiful as my wares. EDSean and Juan are usually here on the weekends.“

These are old family recipes, made with love. Everything is super fresh and very nice quality. The service is friendly and prompt. This is a great place to unwind and enjoy a great variety of dishes. Seating inside and outside. I'm especially fond of the chicken mole and chile verde.

“A cozy authentic Taiwanese restaurant in an area decimated by a declining Taiwanese population. This is an absolute gem, the cook should be commended!!
Southland taste recently closed ending 2 different families owning a south bay institution of Taiwanese food. If you are craving that taiwanese omlette rice or minced pork over rice I can vouch!
Wa shi Daiwan Lang. You can trust me if you are a Taiwanese foodie.

I just tried their popcorn chicken and its AMAZING. SUPER THING CRISP CRUST AND THEN ALL CHICKEN BABY!!! WHAT THE AMAZING!

Re: negative reviews are poorly written and lack any thoughtfulness.
I've been to Taiwan 7 times in the last few years as well as am familiar when Cupertino was taiwanese before all the taiwanese, Koreans and Japanese fragmented left the area in large numbers or moved abroad.
You have to understand that the palate of people that enjoy other DIFFERENT Chinese cuisines will never agree with another Chinese cuisine, same with folks that hate on legitimate American Chinese food which is its own cuisine, there's British Chinese cuisine, Malaysian, Indonesian, Singaporean, Venezuelan Chinese, Chilean, Mexican Chinese etc.
Anything below a 4 is a garbage review with no effort they're either attack reviews from competitors or people that just can't appreciate the mom and pop style of taiwan.
Book a ticket (Taiwan) and eat in Tainan, Khaosiung, Taipei, changhua, jeelung and other places and you'll see what I mean.“

“Great place for a casual lunch or dinner, with great choices for food and drink! Friendly and helpful staff who will let you sample beer before you order, gives you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the ambience. Just a great place for a last minute dash or a planned meal outside! Has both indoor and outdoor seating - great during the daytime with the sun out!“
“My family got to visit here for the first time as a winery. There was no place like this after leaving South Korea. There were most cafes with coffee in South Korea but here the US is different with this winery having a beautiful spot and tasting good wine, cheese, and bread for our light lunch.“

“Amazing experience. The woman who was up front gave us excellent service. Was more interested in the Persian style of food, as this is what they specialize in. She brought me to each type of sweet that is eaten there. All of it was delicious and the coffee was great.“
