Not at all pretentious, this is a welcoming place for even the casual wine drinker. They‘ve converted me to natural wines and now I’m a member of their approachable wine club. Also great selection of gourmet food items, bread and empanadas most days to go with the wines and tinned fish.”

I ordered three street tacos—chorizo, chicken, and steak—and that steak taco? Buddy… it tasted like someone grilled the most excellent steak known to mankind, whispered words of encouragement to it, motivated it to reach its full potential, then sliced it into bite-size greatness. The salsa inside? So good I considered taking it home and introducing it to my family. My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. I briefly thought about drinking it like a tiny salad smoothie. I didn’t… but I thought about it. In conclusion: If you’re not eating at The Hole in the Wall, are you even living? 🌮🔥🍗”

I waited in the gift shop as I was a little early for my table and found the most beautiful things! Cotton dish towels printed with animals and illustrative wildflowers. Ferns. Mushrooms. Aprons. Canvas bags. Journals. Really wonderful things Now onto the high tea- lovely. Just really great food, so many tea choices. I forced myself to finish everything, and I plan on going back to the counter to bring treats home also Loved coming up here. Americana has real food. Not from a far long chain supply coming from all over the world, but from here in their county. Locally sourced, no seed oils, no poisons. Just regular normal and real food. Eat with ease and confidence knowing that your food will be nutritious, filling and tasty wonderful.

“If you are looking for an down to earth winery experience with exceptional hospitality, look no further. From the moment we arrived, the owner greeted us with incredible warmth and enthusiasm. Mike was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, without being stuffy.

We were treated to a quick walk through the vineyard, which gave us a fantastic look at the vines up close while taking in the spectacular, panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
As for the tasting, every single pour was top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire lineup, but the Grenache was the absolute star of the show—vibrant, wonderfully balanced, and unforgettable.

As far as the wines are concerned, I had 6 + 1 2019 from the Library. The differences in profile and taste were striking and with such a beautiful view and setting, it is impossible not to like the wines.

Personnally the Wendling Block E Pinot Noir pleased me the best but Charles Heitz vineyard was a damm fine wine as well !

The drinks are really reasonably priced. The BEST jukebox around. It has everything new and old. There is an old Star Wars pinball machine, a couple of pool tables, a shuffleboard? game, a small train that makes its rounds above your head for only 25 cents, and surprisingly nice restrooms. I love it here. It is my favorite local watering hole. When i drink a little too much, get a little loud and rowdy, or start making out with my girlfriends, they don’t even mind.
