This was a great stop in my too short Sonoma County wine weekend, I bought a bottle of rosé to take home ?

We went this Saturday to wine taste. The view is pretty but that was about it. There was only one woman working there who was very overwhelmed and kept reminding us she was the only one working that day. We asked if they were short staffed and she said no. The owners need to step up and hire more staff. We barely heard anything about the wines that were being poured. We tried to order a charcuterie board and she said you can only do it online during reservation. Of course they could still take our credit card at the end. If you wanted to buy wine. tasting was $30 each and we were all pretty disappointed. Don't plan on going back.

Attended two of their Second Saturday events in the summer of 2022. Both were excellently catered, with spectacular views from the veranda, delicious wines and very knowledgeable and hospitable staff, especially the owner, Rosalind.

Yes! Bring your dog and enjoy the chardonnay and the Pinot noir choices...not to mention the views, and chat with Connie...a wonderful hostess.

What a lovely tasting experience! Each of offerings in the tasting was delicious - I left with two bottles of rose! More importantly, it was a restorative and relaxing experience. I came out to Sebastopol for some solo time away from the craziness kids and work life. Connie was such a warm and welcoming presence as she came by with her each new pour. I had the patio to myself as I enjoyed the view and enjoyed my wine over a book. Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience!

I went here with my family on March 19, 2023. While the wine and views were good, and we even appreciated the free bread with oil, the staff was terrible. It was one woman working who did not bother to greet us when we walked in, I had to walk up to her and explain we had a reservation. Then she would just walk over and pour a wine, ever single time we had to ask what we were tasting and she would give us a one-word response. After four tastings I had to ask if there was more and she just nodded. It was terrible, I would never recommend this winery. We all felt uncomfortable and like we were intruding on her time, even though we were the only ones there. We will not return.

Fog Crest Vineyard is a MUST VISIT when coming to Sonoma! Their wines are delicious and enhanced even more by the beautiful views and ambiance, and the friendly staff. They also have some of the best bread and olive oil to go along with the wine. We bought a bottle to go, and we can't wait to come back!

We had a terrible experience here. Not so much of a terrible experience while we were there, but during the events after our tasting. I have never taken the time to write a bad review, but the horrible customer service we received warrants one. During our tasting we were told to scan a QR code to learn about the wine which is pretty lame. It was a rainy day and we were sitting inside, and it was dead silent since we were the only ones there. After the second pour we decided we were going to head out because the vibes were just off and we only had one day to wine taste. We asked the host if we could pay and also asked if they offered any type of industry discount since I am in the industry. The host responded "uhhhhh idk I don't think so." She then rang us up for 2 tastings that came to $65 total even though the website and QR code both said $20 tastings. We only had 2 pours and asked about the industry discount and was still rang up for full price. We showed the host a photo of where it says $20 tastings and asked if she could call someone to help us that knew more. From there on out we were talking to the owner (we think) on the phone and she was extremely rude. Instead of just offering us a return or comped tasting price, she said that "we didn't actually get charged yet" although it was out of our account, "we should buy some wine if we're going to come taste because that's the point," "If we're in the industry we need to say that at the beginning of the tasting" and other remarks. We were being polite the whole time and continued to get cut off in the conversation and we still haven't gotten any money back. Never again. :)

A lovely place with a great selection of wines. Grab a glass or two and enjoy the view!

The wine we had here was incredible and the views were breathtaking!!!!! And to top it all off, the vinyard being Black owned just took the cake! We loved it!!!

This is one of my favorite wineries and by far one of the best wineries in the region. Off the beaten path: check! Gorgeous grounds: check! Attentive and engaging staff and ownership: check! Generous pours included with AFFORDABLE tastings: check! Lovely and very well curated cheese and charcuterie board options that are locally sourced (that truffle honey is worth its own tasting, so don't sleep on it): check! A very cool laidback playlist that sets a great mood (and that you can also find on Spotify!): bonus! And what takes the cake is that it is Black owned! YES! I love supporting my people and reaping the rewards of money AND time well spent.I have been several times and recommend it frequently to my friends, family, visitors, and anyone else who will listen. Napa is old news and way overhyped and overcrowded. Wineries like Fog Crest are both the Bay Area's best kept secret and indicative of the quality of wine and wineries this area has on offer. It is usually very quiet and they are even pet friendly. It makes for a happy and peaceful (and healthy) wine tasting where you can just sip leisurely and enjoy life, just as wine tastings are meant to be!This is an experience you won't only enjoy, but you will not soon forget it either! Put this one at the top of your list.

I hate to give a negative review with so many positive reviews. However, a lot was to be desired. Also I could see this place having so much potential. We came as a bachelorette group and had already called and pre-planned the event. When we sat down, the woman poured wine and just walked away. We were all confused about if the tasting started or not. But she never came back to explain anything more so we just drank. When we asked for more info when she got back she responded with “It’s Rosé” and that was it. This happened throughout the rest of the wine tasting event. We had no idea how many wines we were going to taste, we weren’t given a list. And the woman who helped us seemed really annoyed when we first got there (but warmed up towards the end) Everything felt very unclear and confusing. We left feeling like a lot was missed. I haven’t really had a terrible wine tasting experience. And I wouldn’t consider this one terrible, however, it was the worst wine tasting experience I’ve had so far.Our friend who picked the Winery for our group kept apologizing because she felt embarrassed with how the event was going. I would say, if you’re wanting to wine taste for a special event, I would choose another winery.Pros: the food was good, the music was good, the venue is beautiful.

Beautiful view, clean tasting room, good wine. The server acted like we were an inconvenience; poured wine in absolute silence, didn't provide ANY information about what we were poured. Despite having reservations and being members were told we had to order a cheese platter 24 hours in advance when that's never been the case. It was a very uncomfortable experience - we left halfway through the tasting.

The views here are stunning, the pours for tasting are generous, and the nibbles are fantastic. We loved our stop here. They are even extra thoughtful with the toys and juice for the kids. Visit here!
