Stopped in for a dozen doughnuts. The reviews were mixed, so I didn't have high hopes. The lady was very nice and the doughnuts were fresh and good. The glazed old fashioned has a lemon taste to it, which I liked but my wife didn't. The jelly doughnuts were really good and the kids devoured the chocolate sprinkles.
While the folks here are quite friendly their product, in my opinion, isn't worth what they charge.A week ago, one jelly and two creme filled doughnuts cost $6.00. While the creme and fruit were tasty the doughnut itself was too dry. Had an early hair appointment and decided to drop in here beforehand. The place threw me off. Not your typical donut shop layout. Almost like donuts were a side idea. Anyways, got their apple fritter. It was huge. And so sugary I had problems finishing it. It didn't taste old, but it wasn't fresh either. Probably won't return.
