So so disappointing. Extremely expensive and portions are so small, it was pretty shocking. Ordered one of the BBQ meals and also the fish tacos. BBQ meal: The brisket was decent but the baby back ribs were so tough and had very little meat on them. The 1/4 chicken was definitely not 1/4 chicken. Fish tacos: one of the tacos actually didn't have any fish in it. Go elsewhere!

I had high hopes and was disappointed. Overpriced and pretentious to say the least. Not the best BBQ considering the price point. Service was slow and inattentive with dismissive and rude comments from the manager/owner. Note to the owners: BE NICE!!! YOU chose this business...a SERVICE business. A smile, kind words and gratitude for patronage go a long way.

Amazing food and a great bar. The staff seems like they sometimes forget how much we all like the place.

Worst service, bad experience. One star is generous. It was our first time dining. We were so excited! Sadly, our server gave us the bare minimum when we asked her to fill us in on the menu. With no suggestions. We ordered brisket on a potato it was covered with cheese, chive and we couldn't see the meat. She served us pork. I told her I don't feed my son pork, and her response was... Well, he just ate pork. Our appetizer came out after our food. My son was still hungry because we didn't eat the starter, it was not delicious. So, as a last attempt, we ordered him a brisket bbq sandwich. And she brought out pork again. I asked her to switch it out. She insisted that's what i ordered, mind-blowing. Right after I told her, we don't eat pork. The table next to us started to complain as well. Oh! And I had to get up and get waters from the bar towards the end of our meal because she didn't come check on us. My son drank my water, so i finally got up and did it myself. I hate to write a bad review, but she should have taken the pork off our bill. Then she blamed it on a power outage. Which was a two second small flicker, not an outage at all. The power had nothing to do with her service. And she could have saved the whole experience with a smile. But she was acting put out. It's a shame, really, because we live right around the corner.

I've been here twice and have only been mildly satisfied. The pork BBQ ribs are flavorless and tough. There are better BBQ place that are cheaper. I hate writing this review because I understand how difficult it is to be a successful small business. I'm hoping that my review gets to the owner changes can be made so that this place can become better. Would love to have a BBQ place to frequent near my home.

This is my favorite restaurant, amazing food, service, and great vibe. Very extensive bar with terrific drinks. There's always something new to try. Everything from the apps to desserts are all delicious and well prepared. They do have the best bbq but they're not just bbq, they have a great variety including vegetarian items.

I came here with a big group of friends off of a recommendation and I was very disappointed. I got the fried chicken sandwich for $22 and my heart dropped when it came out. It was the smallest fried chicken sandwich I have ever seen! I would say the bun was the size of a folding wallet with and covered the whole pice of chicken. I asked everyone how they feel about their food and we all agreed it was very disappointing. I would have gave a one star but the servers were very nice and friendly. I won't be going back and don't recommend this place.

I came to this restaurant for lunch today as my cheat meal after being on a strict diet all week. The waitress was nice which is the only reason why I'm giving this 2 stars. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich and what I received was the most pitiful excuse of a hot chicken sandwich I could have possibly imagined. I kid you not, I would've gotten more chicken in my sandwich if I had gotten a McChicken from McDonald's. I wasn't feeling very confrontational today so I decided to just eat it and not mention it, but I felt I had to leave this review. In order to compensate for the lack of protein in my sandwich I ordered chicken wings. They were decent, bland with not much sauce and were well cooked. I also tried a piece of brisket that my friend had ordered and it tasted like rubber, not a fan. I'm not one to usually leave distasteful reviews but I wasn't too fond of this establishment. By the way, my total for the two items including tax and tip was $50 which is insane. On a more positive note, two of my friends ordered the tri tip sandwich which they claimed was very delicious. My recommendation to anyone reading this would be to order that, if I was to ever return (doubtful) that's what I would order. I'm sure the owners of this place are nice, the ambiance is cool and like I said the waitress was nice. The food however wasn't so great and I was disappointed to say the least.

4+ Just a heads up - my experience just involved coming in to get a beer. I didn't order any of the food / BBQ. The vibe here feels like more of an upscale pub/ restaurant with full bar. I didn't interact with any of the servers, but the bartenders were friendly. The whiskey list was pretty extensive (I always look when available).] My visit though, was specifically to get a pour of Pliny The Younger. It was that time of year when Russian River Brewing distributed their most sought after beer. A friend of mine tipped me off that they were tapping their keg here and I was unable to go another scheduled night with a group of friends. I walked in, sat directly at the bar. It wasn't as crowded as I was expecting. It was actually really chill that night. Was able to get a pour right away and I enjoyed to the last sip. I could have easily gotten more pours, but I really wanted to just stop by to get at least one and head home because it was getting late for me. Overall, very enjoyable experience. Metered parking available along a busy stretch of Ventura Blvd, but after a certain time, it's free. During the week parking is pretty easy to find.

The kitchen was so slow. I would never want to go never again. Also, the barbecue shrimps were not good because there was way too much barbecue sauce which I told this to the server but he was ignorant and didn't respond what so ever.

We came here about 10 years ago and loved it. Passing through the area again, we decided to see if the magic was still there. It did not disappoint. Bekah, our server, was exceptional. I had had the Paso tri-tip sandwich and it was, without hesitation, the most tender, perfectly cooked tri-tip sandwich I've ever had and the fries were on point. See attached photo of my plate. My wife's birria tacos were also delicious. The cocktails were very good, but could use a touch more balance. All in all, I can't wait to pass through the area again and dine here again.

Great service and food. Brisket was really good and side of potato salad hit the spot. Great Bloody Mary as well. Don’t forget the banana pudding.
