Brigadeiros are very rare to find in LA, so I consider myself lucky indeed to live near not just any brigadeiro shop, but an incredibly top notch brigadeiro shop. Maya herself is usually working behind the counter, and is such a kind and helpful person with any questions you might have about the sweets. And not just sweets--I also highly recommend the pão de queijo that she makes, perfectly cheesy and gooey Brazilian cheese bread! Lastly, Maya's brigadeiro favor boxes for weddings and parties are incredible, if you're looking for a truly unique favor that all your guests are sure to enjoy. We had brigadeiros as favors at our wedding, and Maya was beyond helpful throughout the entire process in choosing and designing the boxes, as well as which flavors to pick out. Couldn't recommend her more highly!

I've lived in Sherman oaks for a couple months now and just stumbled on this place on our walk and I'm obsessed. Firstly, Maya is so friendly and personable as soon as I walked in the door. Secondly, the brigadeiros!!! I loved the sweet milk and my daughter loved the classic. Overall, we are happy we got to have some of our favorite dessert here in LA. Next time we'll try the pão de queijo!
