Most excellent experience and food was perfect. We had the duck eggrolls and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms as starters, both had a delish specialty drink. I had the house burger with 3 different meats ground in including wagyu. Was done perfectly med rare. No room for dessert this time. Will def go back. Service was nice, we sat at the bar. All in all a great experience.

Arrogant manager who didn’t inform us of corkage policy until it was too late so our special bottle couldn’t be opened. There are so many finer dining establishments in Sherman Oaks. Avoid this place!

This place had the best service, food and vibe in sherman oaks. The brisket, gnocchi, pulled duck and seared scallops was amazing. They were so accommodating to my food allergy as well. The drinks were unique and yummy. This is a great place bring friends and to have some laughs. Cannot recommend enough!!!!!! MUST GO.

Wood and Water is a great little find in Sherman Oaks. It’s a small restaurant and can get a bit loud but the staff is fantastic and the food is creative and wonderful.Four of us visited, getting two appetizers (pictured) and four main courses and all six dishes were unique and delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong here, I won’t even detail what we got because the seasonal menu will change and I an confident that anyone can come and enjoy whatever stands out to them on the menu. When we came it was almost full and we arrived 45 minutes early, so they sat us at the bar for a few minutes as they figured out if they could fit us in early and were able to do so quickly, which we all really appreciated. Big props to the host staff for being able to accommodate us even though it was our fault we were early.

My husband and I were looking for a new restaurant to try and this caught our eye. Everything about this place was fantastic: the food, the service, the ambiance. The sweet corn ravioli was unique and is a must try. The chicken had a side of kale that was the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back.

First time eating at Wood & Water and I just loved it. First, the owner Karim reserved us a quiet table in the back. The ambiance is nice... cute, quaint, and a nice crowd. Our server Phil was wonderful and made some great recommendations. Everything we ordered was perfect and not only did Phil check on us regularly, but so did Karim. Great customer service!!! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. I'll be going back for sure!

Tried Wood & Water for the first time, and easily made a reservation online the day before. They offer a solid list of cocktails, and quality, fresh seafood items -- ordered the yellowtail with crispy onion from the raw bar menu (sans watermelon), as well as oysters, the house burger, and scalloped potatoes. Overall, everything was pretty tasty and I would definitely recommend the yellowtail and oysters of the things I tried. Would be interested in returning for their happy hour in the future

Fabulous in every way. Except the burger. The mixed meats make the consistency tough and hard at times instead of melting like a burger should be. Otherwise most everything is delicious

Came for dinner during Dine LA and was not disappointed. Parking was easy, metered street parking or valet available. Service was quick and friendly. Drinks were delicious, I ordered the sequel the better mule. For apps we tried the duo of cauliflower, spicy tuna, and lobster Mac and cheese, the spicy tuna was my favorite and definitely a must try. Entrees we ordered were the ricotta gnocchi, wild boar ragu, and pork chop. All tasty, big portions, and plenty to share. For dessert we opted for the chocolate matcha cake and the honey polenta cake, not my favorites but still good. Interior was dimly lit and was busy for a Friday night, a perfect spot for dinner.I'll definitely be back to try their full menu!

The meal was exceptional. We got pork belly (10/10), cauliflower two ways (8.5/10), salmon (10/10), and pork chop (10/10). Great sized portions and all the pairings on the dish were intentional and delicious. The polenta cake was incredible too. A really unique, simple dessert. The server was so lovely. It took a hot second for our appetizers to come out, but it didn’t matter to us. The food and server made up for it and then some.
