Traditional Mexican food, friendly staff and VERY fast service! I also loved the salsa. It seemed fresh and homemade. It may seem like a small thing but I have had "from a jar" at some other restaurants or the flavor was meh Also ice tea was fresh too Would definitely come back!!

Went here for the first time. I've seen the place before but never really paid it much attention. Our family checked this place out due to how busy one of our favorite places was, and we were able to be seated in the bar area. Not a big deal as they had a couple TVs for sports. In our view, with what we had ( street tacos, enchiladas, and hard tacos) we will return. Service was great, and all service staff was respondent to our requests. The absolute best in town? Hard to say, but the food we ordered was very good, and we'd absolutely go back. It's another locally owned venue that we will happily support.

Great atmosphere, nice interior and darker lighting. Leagues above the mexican diners around simi. House margarita and wet burrito are an easy go to, always great. Love this place ?

Haven't been here in years and thought I would give it a try again. I ordered the taquito plate with rice and beans to go. I was kind of surprised how pricey it was, about $20 for a few taquitos cut up. I also noticed that I was charged a service fee and not told when checking out. I did think the meat was good and enjoyed the enchilada sauce on top of the taquitos but tbh Campos is just as good and half the price tag.

On a friend's recommendation went there with him my girl and another couple. The food was cold, sent it back, got it back and pretty much the hottest thing on my plate was the guacamole. Paid for my drinks and left. The bar looked cool but I wouldn't order food. Total disappointment. The server was apologetic, he knew. Elvira's in Simi way better. Always looking for something new. Any suggestions?

We went on Saturday 9/30. Evening. Once seated, they took our drink order. Got those and chips. Then was forgotten for over 20 minutes without taking our order. I had to wave her down. Ordered, finally. I ordered fajita quesadilla and my husband ordered Filet Veracruz. 15 minutes or so later I got my quesadilla. Nothing for my husband. 20 minutes went by and I had to flag her down asking where his food was. So she said she'd check. Another 10 or 15 minutes I caught her again and she said they somehow didn't get his order from her. Another 20 minutes and here comes a fried whole fish with salsa on top ...not what he ordered. We were pretty disgusted. I made her take it back. More time and I gave up. Went up to front counter where she then said she was getting it "to go". I said I will not pay for this. She gives my husband the bag then says she's got it. Indicating she would comp us. So we left. Upon getting home, I curiously opened the container. All the cook did was cut off the fish off the body and cover that with disgusting chunky salsa. Totally inedible. So my husband got no dinner. I made him popcorn and tea.

First time visit. Seems like three spots for you dine- outside, bar area, or a little quieter room. Friendly staff. Chips and salsa- salsa had more kick than I'm used to from most places, but good. The fajitas are a great deal and so flavorful. It reminded me why I love to order fajita. The rice could use more flavor. Over all, though, solid visit.
