Bomb lil spot in Solana Beach. Pillbox has a local feel that doesn’t often have a free barstool. They have a patio that is dog friendly. Despite the local beer offerings, wine, and booze, the highlight is food menu. You can get a burger and a beer for 15$ on Monday. Stopped in a quick lunch, it was good. We both got 3 tacos, a basket of fries, and the tres amigos appetizer. If you looking for more traditional street tacos this is not the spot, the tacos were great though. Flour tortilla, lots of protein options, come with tomatoes, slaw, a spicy dressing and a tiny bit of cilantro

Pillbox had good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Solid slightly above pub grub style food, good beer selection and friendly staff. Can’t go wrong. Really liked the overall feel of this place, and would be a regular if I lived in the area.
