“Excellent food, atmosphere and great place to eat before wine tasting! ❤️”
“This is a terrific place - head and shoulders above any of the non-Michelin starred places in town (we only have one). Unique offerings that taste fantastic. The service is appropriately attentive. It's great.”

“Great wine, attentive service and super convenient location near shops and restaurants in Napa. We also brought our kids and they were treated wonderfully with sparkling water and chef-made snacks just for them.”
“The best winery in California! I would like to thank Don for making the visit spectacular he went out the way to greet us and he was so friendly. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to taste wine and check out the founder and history of wine in the US it’s very intresting.”
“Another winery recommended we visit this winery in Sonoma because of it's story, culture, and quality. Six of us did and it did not dissappoint. Jimmy did a wonderful job of sharing the family history, as well as the history of the winery. He also recommended great wines for us to sample and consider for purchase. I'm glad we availed ourselves to learning about how our Mexican brothers worked the fields, learned the business and became and expert, purchased land, started his on winery, and served two U.S. Presidents (Obama and Bush) and the California Gov (Swarzenegger). Oh, the wine is GREAT!”

“Dinner at Enclos was phenomenal. The progression from small bites (the gougeres 🤤), to seafood (clam chowder chawanmushi!!), to savory (dehydrated carrot with the beef 💕), to desserts (tiny honey ice cream cones) was amazing. Service was great. Space is nice, especially the garden lounge.”
“Went to an event here and got to meet the brewers and beer tenders and it was an amazing experience rounded out by delicious beer. The friendly staff will lead you to their great selections based on the style of beer you like. A fun crew and great beer! Visit Sonoma Springs Brewing soon if you haven't had a chance!! Also excited to find them at our local supermarkets in Santa Rosa!!”

“Schug Winery was our favorite. Made a reservation for the wine tasting in their cave. It was awesome walking into the cave which opens to a chandelier room very elegant with a great table. Various wines were poured and tasted. Exceptional wines at this winery. We bought a case. I highly recommend this winery for the tour and the wine!”
“Kiv is a total find. The front looks a little rough when you pull up…then you step through and it opens into this unexpected backyard oasis. Big shade umbrellas, fire pits, quiet corners — the kind of spot you settle into for hours.
The wines are fantastic and very reasonably priced. Father’s Watch (pictured) might be one of the best blends anywhere — balanced, silky, and way better than its price point suggests. They’re also working with some rare and hard-to-find varietals, which makes each flight feel different than the usual Sonoma lineup.
The chicken and ricotta bites? Absolute knockout. One of those dishes you order “just to try” and immediately wish you’d doubled.
Service is relaxed but sharp, the atmosphere is great, and there’s a wonderful restaurant next door. Location is solid, but you could easily drive past the humble storefront — don’t.
A+ winery. Total gem.”
“Congratulations to this boutique winery! Their reds are smooth, pleasant and maturing. The story of passion and legacy will keep their production going for many years! Looking forward to returning.!”

Outdoor Dining
“Really cute place across the street from a high school. Parking is often crowded, but there's street parking nearby. They have a suggested entrance and exit, to keep the flow moving. Cute pastries, good coffee, and according to my friend who really likes matcha, really good matcha. It's Swedish themed, so they have some Swedish themed snacks too.
Inside seating is a little cramped/cozy. They usually have music playing. Lots of outdoor seating, which in California is often appreciated. Lots of shady spots too!
There's a bathroom with a key.
Really great place to study/chat with friends. Service was excellent, and there were some nice people around too.
There's also some hooks for dogs, if you have dogs and want to keep them outside.
Will return.”

“I have enjoyed the menu at sweet pea bakery for several years now. When I was going through some medical issues, my daughter from out of town kindly bought me a gift certificate to sweet pea and send it to me via email unfortunately, sweet pea staff was not able to figure out how to use a digital gift certificate And I was unable to use it. I was disappointed that I couldn’t use it, but more disappointed that they did not offer me money back on the gift certificate.”
“This is our favorite spot in Sonoma. We live on the east coast and visit every fall. Of course we are part of the wine club! Not only is their wine fantastic but they also go above and beyond in showing hospitality. It’s special here. This is a small, family run winery. Deepak (owner, winemaker) is always there to say hello and chat and makes you feel so welcome. On this most recent trip, our friends who were also visiting CA joined us for a first time visit to Nicholson Ranch, and Jessi knocked it out of the park. She provided a lovely educational tasting experience and cave tour which included both Nicholson and Gulrajani wines, followed by some ‘heavy snacks’ (try the burrata with pistachio, it was amazing) … oh… and a lot of laughs. A great time was had by all. We will always come back.”

“Absolutely phenomenal! An odyssey of wine & cheese pairings, and a great and very approachable introduction to the intricate world of wine. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Lloyd was the perfect guide!”

“Excellent Pinot Noirs, Neil is terrific.”
“Wow, what a great find! We visited Ceja through Sonoma Bike Tours- and we had a fantastic time. My party is well versed in wine and well travelled- and we were impressed with our Ceja experience! The wine (especially the Chardonnay, red blend, and dessert wine) was consistently great. I highly recommend doing the wine tasting.Don’t miss out about learning about the family story, too!”
“We stopped here for lunch in between vineyard visits. The menu was unique and the two dishes we ordered were fantastic. It was slightly pricey for a quick bite but that is expected on the square. Give it a try if you’re in the area.”
“We have been ordering wine from Bedrock many years. This was our first time to visit. The tasting room is just off the main square in Sonoma. It is located in the historic Joseph Hooker House. We were a few minutes late for our appointment but we were seated immediately. Our tasting started with Under The Wire sparkling wine followed by some the Cuvée Karatas which we liked. The plot twisted in the next two pours. In each of the final two rounds we were offered 3 wines to evaluate side by side. This was super fun. We also ordered the charcuterie board and it was delicious too. We had a wine order already pending so we just added more bottles to this order. We opted to take a bottle of 2009 Griffen's Lair syrah with us to drink at the hotel.”
Takeout Restaurants
“I’ve been looking for a healthy food restaurant in this area, and this place pleasantly surprised me! Not only is the food truly healthy, but the service is also exceptional—so calm and caring. The atmosphere is warm and happy, with uplifting music that makes the experience even better. It’s so important to eat in a relaxed, stress-free environment, and this place gets it just right. Highly recommend!”
“I own the dance studio next door and as a business owner trying to make healthy choices and keep my energy up before and after classes, Cielito has amazing smoothies, juices and açaí bowls !! Best part is when I feel like having something special I can indulge in a churro sundae too!! 😍THE BEST! Just wish the hours were open earlier before 11am for all of our students, clients and employees plus all the parents in the neighborhood before and after drop off in the mornings at the nearby schools!! 🙏🏽All in all very grateful thank you! PS MY GO - TO drink is The Thuderstorm Smoothie “Lauren D Style”: Substitute espresso instead of coffee and add a handful of cacao nibs on top! BOOM!”
“Love this for morning coffee and pastry outdoor sidewalk tables”

“Getting a burger here is easy. Just order at the gas station. Customer service straight forward. The menu is short. Burgers are seasoned well, fresh, with a nice soft bun. I get the double grilled burger. They have old pinic tables to sit in the shade and eat. My only complaint is they don't have fries. And since they only have a short list which are only burgers, fries are a must. Not sure if the fries will return, they said the deep fryer is down. There a little pricey $10 no fries. All in all great burgers.”
“Small and cute cafe with limited menu. The high point is the bacon!!! Maybe the best I've ever had. I will intentionally stop by when randomly in the area wine tasting. The brioche donut is also a yummy highlight with Nutella or raspberry filling. Do yourself a favor and get the Nutella and then a side of raspberry jam to dip it in!!!!”
“It's basically identical to Starbucks, but big corporations have that effect. Peet's coffee is very high quality. The food is just what you would get at any coffee shop, nothing amazing there. I will eat it though, don't get me wrong. Service is great, especially for how busy they get. The atmosphere is not great but there is only so much you can do with a small space. That's Sonoma's achilles heel, space. I like the place and it's a great location. The only thing that is hard for me to get used to is how everyone feels they need to bring their dog into a coffee shop. It's gross, sorry. I have a lot of hospitality experience and it's purely a sanitation issue. But, that's California for you. Always weird.”
“Every time I go to Santa Rosa I pass by the El Gitano Taco Truck, and every time I pass them by, I tell myself...Next time I'm stopping!
Well, today I stopped and got 4 plain tacos de cabeza without any condiments so I could taste the meat for itself. They were Amazing!
5 stars all day long ☆☆☆☆☆”
“We were very happy with the service provided by Los 3 Hermanos at our recent company event for 150 people. The food was great, and orders were filled swiftly.Erika and her crew were very organized and friendly. We definitely hope to use Los 3 Hermanos for future events.”
“Supreme Sweets and Christina Danner don't need my recommendation. Christina's artistry is unreal—or maybe oh so real. You might not want to cut into the masterpieces she creates, but then you taste what she baked you and you end up in the oh so apropos conundrum of wanting to have your cake and eat it too. Good luck when you get to that part of the experience she creates. You might need your therapist on speed-dial.”
“A watering hole for the locals, it's a charming place with a jukebox to select your music. Dan, the bartender, is a nice guy who can provide a helpful ear if you wanna unburden yourself. Dan also makes a mean blood mary, which is described as the best in town on the directory board. I agree with that ad, twas a bloody good bloody mary ! You get a shrimp with it !!!!It's a small place with about 3-4 booths and easy to miss when walking in Sonoma downtown. We found it only coz it was 9:30pm and this was one of the few places open. FYI, its open till late night. Preferably, walk to this place. The locals are friendly and provide good stories you can sit and provide half an ear to when watching basketball or ice hockey. If you are interested, you can even watch star trek TNG.No food is available here though except for packaged chips. But deftly a lovely place to end your day at.A for sure return visit for me next time I'm in sonoma downtown.
Parking: Parking is on the street around the town square which can fill up pretty quickly. And its only a 2-3 hour parking.”
“really good and tasty food, live music on Saturday night, vegan friendly ❤️”

“I love this place, grew up going here, I make the effort to stop by every time im back on the mainland. I will say im not thrilled with the small cuts, but im thinking I got the wrong bags as most of the stack was the huge and wonderful meat sticks. And yes, I know they would ship a box out to me, but that takes all the fun out of it.”
“We are long-time regular customers & I thought I should write a review. We love this place! The food is always good. We eat here regularly (every 3 weeks or so…) We are always super happy with the freshly prepared food. We have been eating here for 5 years & we used to do take-out (which was always good too) but now we eat inside.
Mu Shu vegetable is fantastic. Mu Shu anything” would be excellent. Egg Rolls are always fresh & crispy. Honestly, everything is good here.
My husband is not vegetarian & he loves Mongolian Beef, General Tao’s Chicken & Mu Shu Pork.”
“The food here was DELICIOUS! The chorizo con huevo and the carnitas plate was what me and my boyfriend ordered!! The chorizo had a unique taste with a good little kick to it! The carnitas were perfectly cooked and had a perfect texture to it! Nice and soft on the inside and a good crunch on the outside and the salsas!! QUE RICO!!”
“I was going here every day with my husband, both of us getting a large every day for about 2 months after discovering this new gem... and probably still would be except that we both realized that we were putting on the pounds. ? Everything in moderation I guess, but we love these boba drinks! My husband's favorite is the brown sugar milk one, and I don't really have a favorite, but I recommend the blended dragon elixir, the tropical blended, the strawberry dream, the peaches 'n' cream, or the strawberry matcha! You really can't go wrong because you can control the sweetness of the drink, you can control how filling it is due to the types and amount of boba that you get...”
“Had the best time at Tin Barn when visiting from Portland! Danielle gave us a tour and was such a great host all throughout our tasting. We will definitely be back ❤️”
“Great food, great service and unbeatable prices. Every item on the menu is a five star. Good selection of wines and cocktails.”
“Delicious food, great for taking photos and relaxing, relaxed atmosphere”
“The latest in a string of attempts to make this venue work - hoping this one sticks! Great pizzas, really nice staff, good vibe, and with the outdoors space, should be a winner year round.”
“I visited Ricci Vineyards a couple days ago and can not say enough about the quality of the wines. Tyler and Jim provided very a interesting history of the family vineyards. The tasting atmosphere is totally Sonoma. It is very laid back surrounded by beautiful vineyards hosted by folks the are truly passionate about what they do and want make sure you enjoy the experience.”

“Had lunch there today with 3 of my friends. We are all locals. It was such a lovely experience! Food was delicious…. I’m a vegetarian and had no problem choosing my dish…. There are also Vegan dishes available. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service was excellent. I must mention the French Fries…. There are several restaurants in Sonoma that serve delicious fries but these are the best. I’m looking forward to many more enjoyable meals there!”

“Wow! Yum! This was a wonderful and pleasant surprise. We stopped in after Happy Hour, which I am sure would be amazing! We ordered two craft cocktails - a Whiskey Sour and a Watermelon Margarita which had some heat to it. Our server Marco recommended it. It was the best! You were definitely right Marco! We also had ordered the nachos. These aren’t your ordinary nachos! These nachos have birria and every topping you can imagine! Very clean, high end type of Mexican food- not heavy and greasy! So happy! I only wished I was more hungry so I could order other dishes. This restaurant has other dishes to accommodate those in your party who may not like Mexican food (I know! How could that be?) So don’t worry! There is something for everyone! We met the owner Kina who was busy expediting the orders to the various servers. She did take the time to speak with us. We were highly impressed with Kina and the way the restaurant and staff was operating. The only bad thing we could say is, we are so sorry we don’t live in Sonoma as we would be able to enjoy this restaurant all the time. We will definitely be coming back before we return to our home in Ojai. As it is, we are up in Sonoma a couple of times a year and plan to make Kina’s Kitchen & Bar a regular stop for us!”
“Review I am on a flight returning to Nashville and already longing to return to Sonoma. Not for the wine, weather and topography, although all of these made for a lovely trip with my husband. No, I want to return for one reason only - so that I can experience Animo one more time. The unusual combination of flavors and ingredients, expertly cooked and beautifully presented were nothing short of remarkable. I’ve never had a meal like it and suspect I’ll never have another without returning. This husband and wife team cook and serve with all the spirit and commitment required to create this kind of wonder. We started with the lobster, shared the ribeye and ended with the cheesecake. Each dish was not as expected. All were perfection. If you only have one night in Sonoma, this is where you should go.”

“The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. It was very quiet and we were able to talk at a comfortable volume. It was pricey, so definitely a special occasion type of place. We all loved our food and ate every bite. Save room for dessert! They tried to add a chair to our table that was in the direct path of where all the servers & bussers needed to walk in order to access all the other tables, & whoever sat there would have been very much in their way, so we all sat together in the booth & got rid of the chair, which worked perfectly.”
“Sonoma Grille is so excellent...I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner and staff are so welcoming and thoughtful. The drinks are excellent, the food is fantastic, it can get loud but that's part of the fun! Great bar...the lamb shank was delicious, the mussels were amazing and the linguini with prawns was sooo good. Don't miss going here. A Sonoma staple.”
“Fabulous, delicious food from the appetizers to the desert. A huge shout-out for the excellent service. In this day & age even classy, expensive restaurants often offer mediocre service. The waitstaff at the Depot Hotel was highly efficient, observant, attentive, and courteous. It was a delight!”

“Arrived at 8:55am on a monday, no issues parking for lodge residents, unsure for guests though. Was immediately seated
Food was great, ordered a few angus steak & egg combos, a mushroom omelet, and a couple of guacamole toasts. Steak was cooked nicely.
Service was solid, was checked on a few times.
Atmosphere was great, no overbearing music and good for conversations for a group of people.”
“My son is lived in Sonoma for the last six years, but just this last year we discovered Tacos Costa. Absolutely love the quesa tacos. When he has the nachos, you absolutely can’t go wrong with chicken nachos, but he does them as a special so keep your eyes peeled. All of the staff is extremely friendly and very personable and if medical marijuana is your thing sparc is right next door. He is closed on Mondays and I think Tuesdays so you wanna pay attention to what day of the week it is when you have a taco craving.”
