“After being here mainly for my daughter it tasted good this time chicken was actually flaky and bigger strips fries were crispy probably because I asked for every thing extra crispy.. normally it's been trash since they opened every restaurant in that lil ghetto area not that great any other restaurants that's in that corner in other areas way better“
“Bursting with flavor, in a fun atmosphere, Girl & the Goat never fails to please.Parking: There are plenty of paid lots around. Here. Any free street parking is hit or miss. There is a paid lot across the street that is only $5/hour and usually has plenty of spaces.“
“What a wonderful place to take friends to a place ro remember. Great atmosphere and outrageous food. Order the short rib 24 hours beforehand if you want the best steak you've ever had (this beats steaks I've had in Omaha). The drinks are diverse and very tasty. The crispy rice and the sugar snap peas are on a whole other level- super amazing.“
“First time coming to HLAY with my two cousins and IT WAS AMAZING! The customer service was 10/10, the food was delicious 1000/10 and the atmosphere was lively, fun and everyone was in their own world living, laughing and loving. I would come here again with my Fiance, my primas (cousin's in spanish lol), and other friends!! seriously amazing- a homey feel. GREAT food!! the STEAK WAS DEVINE!! and the peppers were WOW no words! I cannot wait to be back!! parking on the side valet. almost forgot ! the drinks were GREAT!!“
“Nice meal. A little crowded on a weekday lunch time, but service was pretty fast considering. A little on the pricier side considering the portions and just standard service. Food is good, but not stunning. Come here mainly for the visuals.“
“The pan fried mackerel was just OK. The fry on it was great but the pickled veggies were way too salty for the dish. The side dishes like the snap Peas and the potatoes were delicious. Mostly the space is gorgeous, and the service was great. Great people watching.Parking: There is valet. There are metered parking but it's hard to find. There are lots that are quite expensive. If you're willing to walk a few blocks during the day you can park in Little Tokyo and either walk to or scooter over.“
“The food was excellent last night. We had the butter chicken pot pie, lamb kebabs, nachos, and sticky ribs- all were delicious. What we didn't like was that our reservation was at 7pm and we weren't seated until 7:30. The host never really apologized and they don't have anywhere to sit and wait.“
“Great branding, fun atmosphere, lovely place! Smash burger was too smashed, all crisp, no meat flavor. The crunch is good at times but you don’t want it the whole way through, definitely recommend the window for a good smash burger. Next, the fried chicken sandwich - you can tell the chicken has been either sitting in A) its own juice or B) brine. You can smell the wet chicken in the sandwich, and as a result of its wetness, the breading does not stay on the chicken. Very very mediocre, also didn’t help that the chicken was rubbery in texture. I believe in leaving reviews to help you guys, I will definitely be back! Love the fun flavors, just need to execute execute execute!“
“came for happy hour and Monday Night football - great vibes will come again - ate on the 2nd Floor and they had nba and nfl games on. staff is friendly and washrooms clean. got nachos wings and a burger. and couldn’t go wrong with modelo on tapParking: spots are for multiple businesses in the plaza. just be careful as parking spots are tight“
“Amazing atmosphere and decor. Food was so good. And staff was absolutely so kind, attentive, and friendly. I 10/10 will return and will definitely be returning. If anyone is reading this please visit. It's worth the time. Try the Wolve Burger. So delicious and the plate is LOADED WITH FRIES. thank you for making this a amazing experience!!!“
“The Sommelier was top tier and absolutely lovely. The Farmers Market salad was thoughtfully and beautifully prepared- a must try. The bread came at an odd time, but it was nice. The squash soup was an entire meal for me, but the Cod looked amazing! The service could not have been better. It’s not a romantic or softy lit spot, but it’s an experience you don’t want to miss if you’re in search of excellence.Vegetarian options: The Farmers Salad was amazing- the squash soup was lovely, but wasn’t vegan.Parking: They share the valet - $12.“
“Went here for early brunch when opened and was not disappointed. The reasurant was amazing. The shrimp was grilled beautifully. Ordered the 917 burger as well and shared the 6 oz steak (medium well) with my boyfriend and it was the best decision. Definitely a place to try and the center is an amazing experience and sight to view while eating. Coming back soon!“
“Our second time dining here, this time we brought friends. It was perfect and food, service was awesome. However I was a bit disappointed by the lobster pot pie.... It was not what I was expecting, lobster was cold and just didn't taste right. Other than that, great place to fine“
“Came here on a whim to grab some cocktails before dinner down the street and the energy was amazing. The cocktails were absolutely delicious and our bartender, Frenchie (I believe that’s what he went by) was very attentive. We mentioned being curious about a vermouth in a cocktail that he happened to overhear and before we knew it he let us try it. Would definitely come back for drinks and hopefully some food next time!“
“A hideaway restaurant for adults. It's located near Little Tokyo, but the signboard is small so don't miss it.This stylish restaurant is housed in a renovated church, serving creative American cuisine with European touches in a relaxed atmosphere. Shishito peppers are recommended as an appetizer. For mains, we had scallops (Day Boat Scallops) and steak (New York Strips), both of which were delicately prepared and seasoned, leaving us feeling highly satisfied.Recommended for eating alone or with your loved ones.“
“Great food, unique tastes, but limited main course menu. Food service was fine except for over-the-top removal of dish-ware, glasses, silverware. Seemed there was someone constantly on the lookout for your last bite or sip to whisk away that offending item. This included people reaching between us, across the table, to grab something, disrupting our dinner conversation. Not pleasant.“
“Absolutely amazing cuisine. The mother of Pearl Martini is a must. And my server Mario was very attentive and knew the menu like the back of his hand. Very cool slightly dressy atmosphere. If you’re an oyster fan do not miss this place. I had the pork belly and the catfish with a “dry rub” Nashville Seasoning not the wet style for which was perfect for me food, The service and drinks. A solid five out of five“
“The food was so delicious. I recommend the chorizo and frijoles. We had two servers one was exceptional however the other server made us very uncomfortable with his aggressive, bad attitude and rude behavior. I'd like to say I would come back but if I saw him I would RUN!“
“Came to dinner at Otium post a Sunday concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall (WDCH) with friends who suggested Otium as our dinner stop and reserved. From the word welcome to Otin, as we walked in the experience was sublime. The seating just outside of the kitchen was amazing to watch. Our server was on point and all the support staff as well. We started our meal with 12 oysters, moved to the Pea Ravioli, then added some Naan bread (so delicious), then moved on to the main of the pork chop with potatoes and cauliflower sides. Finished with the best pineapple upside down cake I have ever had and this will go down as the best dinner I have had in Los Angeles bar none, combined with the ambiance and service, you all knocked it out of the park.“
“We hired the Made By Meg (MBM) team for our small, intimate wedding this past May and they were absolutely amazing. From signing on to the actual event date, we had so much trust in the MBM team. They have the entire process down; everything is so organized and all the little details are considered and communicated.I have to give a huge shoutout to the sweetest ever, Angela, who initiated our contract. (She's unfortunately no longer with the company, but wanted to mention her, as she was such a huge part of us wanting to sign on). We were then re-assigned to Kat, who was equally awesome. She helped us finalize all the details of our contract (as we made a few customizations) and ran through the timeline and finishing touches with us before the wedding. Then, on the day of, the team, led by Mila, was phenomenal. Everything was set beautifully, the food was delicious, and everyone was just so kind and a joy to work with.Would highly recommend this team, if you are thinking about hiring a catering company for your next event! :))“
“Had a really beautiful evening, great food, great ambiance, shared with close friends. Only misstep was that when I made the reservation I noted that it was a birthday celebration for one of the guests. A small gesture like a candle on a dessert would have been nice. Nothing. All in all it was a lovely evening.“
“First time coming here and despite a small mistake on my order, Aldo who attended me as cashier went out of his way to make it right!. There was a young lady working the back kitchen area who also went above and beyond to make sure my party had a great experience overall. I enjoyed the food, taste was on point, ordered a variety of items such as wings, egg n bird sandwich, grilled chicken avocado bowl, Mac salad, and banana dessert. Definitely coming back, staff was professional, and friendly.“
“I was excited to dine here and it did not disappoint! First off, cocktails were amazing. We had the escargot and ceviche to start and they were nothing short of fantastic. For the mains, we had the crispy pasta and lamb shank kaldereta. Pasta was perfectly al dente and the lamb fell right off the bone. They gave everyone complimentary strawberry sorbet and that was heavenly! We also got the red velvet mamon. Our server was really nice, friendly, and lively. Only thing was we ordered bottled still water which was right on our table but one of the servers kept refilling our glasses with tap water lol it’s no big deal though. Overall a really great experience and we’ll be coming back to try their brunch/lunch menu.“
“They do prix fixe style 3 course menu here, with many choices for each course. Also offered is a set price wine pairing. I really enjoyed all the dishes I chose as well as the pairings (1 for each course). They do have a full bar available but I only had the paired wines. An amuse-bouche was brought to us ahead of our meal. It was a mushroom and scallion broth in a crockery type shot glass. This was a little salty but delicious.I chose a prawns (no picture) as my first course. It came with 3 lovely prawns and a cabbage puree. For my second I chose a bacon wrapped pork loin (see picture), and lastly the almond cake (see picture). All 3 dishes were fantastic. I went with my wife and son who both also loved the food. Its clear the change the menu options frequently. The 3 course menu was $98 each and the wine pairings $56 each.Bread service is an additional charge but it was delicious. Please note 18% gratuity is automatically added to your check. Our dinner for 3 with wine pairings for two, tax and gratuity all in was $557.I definitely want to come back, but to me this is a venue for a special occasion dinner. They do offer corkage if you want to bring in your own bottle but that is $50!As for seating, we ended up sitting at a booth the faced the kitchen. While this is fascinating this is a 71st floor restaurant so we would have preferred to face the windows. If you are a Hell's Kitchen fan you might dig this table (and you can request it), but you will not see any drama.... just professionalism and attention to detail. We could have waited for a different table but chose to stay put.Parking: Valet is definitely easiest. The self park is not super easy to get to and their validation time is really unclear. It says in 2 different places 2 hour or 3 hour validation. The valet is $15 plus tip and way easier.“
“I was amazed by the diverse and eclectic menu options that were offered. I highly recommend the Chicken Sliders, Fried Polenta, Brussel Sprouts and Cauliflour. My friend and I shared about 10 of the various tapas-style plates and all of them were remarkably delicious. Our cocktails were delicious. I also want to compliment our server who waa very attentive and friendly. I think the only part of the experience that was somewhat lackluster was the outdoor seating area at the back of the restaurant.“
“Really dope spot. The chicken has great seasoning and is fall off the bone tender. The potato salad is also super good and zesty. I got out and ordered but it was super loud because the cars are passing by in the street very closeby and very fast so just make sure to speak up when you order. Also it's cash only so make sure to have some on you when you go.Parking: There's a few spots. When I came no other cars were parked so I picked the spot I wanted. Seems like most people go through the drive through anyway.“
“Dined here some years back when they first opened and it wasn't very memorable. Gave it another try as my wife has recently gone with her parents and was highly impressed. Ordered the steak salad, calamari and sea bass. They were all very good, especially the sea bass and the calamari. The sea bass was nicely cooked, paired with some glass noodles, spinach and shitakke mushrooms. Delish. It also had a nice kick to it. The calamari was well prepared, crunchy yet soft, not too chewy. Also went well with some fried chili/jalapeno peppers. Overall, I think it is worth coming back to explore the menu further.“
“I cannot rate Intercrew high enough. Been there multiple times through changes in the menu and I feel like it just gets better and better. The ambiance is great for a date, also great for a big group. I’ve been there in both situations and it’s a great time. The food is also always so perfectly done, the chef has an incredible amount of skill and it shines through on every plate. It’s best to share plates so you get a little taste of many things. I love love the duck and the pork belly. If you have been here before but not in a while - the menu changed recently & it feels like the chef is really starting to put his personal stamp on the menu!“
“Hey this our first time here, not bad.... liked the ambience of the place. A sports bar merged with fine dining. Large booths with combo of tables for 4. A bar tucked in on the side good sitting area. Recommende to RSVP or wait 30mins to be seated during dinner slot. Food was great, had the Chipotle burger and double patty melt on rye. For starters we had calamari and not your regular find, beefed up in size thick as your finger. Overall I enjoyed my meal only gripe was the sweet potatoe fries were served cold not freshly fried. Give it a try when you are in old town Torrance.“
“My husband and I work near by and come here alot. Their salads are always fresh, and delicious. We've never had one that wasn't! They have a large selection of salad options, all made fresh to order, not made ahead and sitting in a cooler. They also have delicious soups, pasta salad, baked potatoes with asorted toppings, and fresh made juices. On Fridays, they have fish Ceviche! It is SO good and a favorite of ours. With so many unhealthy options to choose from, this place is a gem and really is the only place in the neighborhood to get fresh, whole foods that are not processed, full of fat, salt, and sugar. Their staff is always so nice and work to get you in and out fast. We can't recommend this place enough!“
“I'm so glad that there is a good restaurant like this near where I live. First of all, the food quality is good and the price is also good. Also, while eating the food, I felt how sincere the chef and owner are about the food. Other places often don't have fresh ingredients, but here all the ingredients are fresh and they don't skimp on the ingredients. It's close to home so I think I'll go often.“
“It was such a nice place to find while walking my pup's vet appt. Pet friendly. Happy hour Thursday. Beer: Pizza Port CA honey was smooth. The fish tacos were light, crunchy, and full of flavor. The service was very accommodating and helpful.“
“The burger was incredibly filling, and flavor profile very balanced with arugula, blue cheese, carmelized onions. I got a side Caesar and the croutons are surprisingly memorable. My colleague got the chicken piccatta and said it was delicious. The wait staff was very polite and food came out pretty quick given they seem to have a fairly busy lunch crowd. I can see why people come here repeatedly for lunch. It's reliable, great quality, and decently elegant ambiance.“
“I have tried a fair share of vegan restaurants being from the Bay Area but I have never had an array of delicious vegan options quite like this! For apps, we tried the crab cakes, Cajun fries, and grits.Hands down, the crab cakes were the clear winner. The texture and flavor profile were the closest resemblance to non-vegan crab cakes that I’ve ever tried ?I don’t normally like grits but these grits [pleasantly] surprised me. The Cajun fries were also really good! The soy meat in the fries were a very similar chewy texture to carne asada so everything had its own merit! For entrees, we got the loco moco, the Hawaiian dish, and the wet burrito. The loco moco and the Hawaiian dishes were my favorite. The loco moco patty was super tender, and the pairing with the vegan egg on top with the gravy sauce just made for an amazing combination of savory flavors. The Hawaiian dish with the greens was a nice break from the heaviness of the grits and loco moco. The wet burrito is ginormous. Definitely ordered way too much overall, but we don’t regret having leftovers for the next day. :) everything is too good not to try!We also got complimentary beignets at the end of the meal! The service was impeccable. Thank you for an amazing experience!“
“One of the best spots for catering in LA! We’ve ordered 3 times now for team lunches and it’s consistently good, always a hit with our employees and clients. Ingredients are fresh and the portions are filling. Great options for vegan and gluten-free. Highly recommend!“
“The burrito is not small it’s enough for the average person. I tried all the sauces and they were all 10/10. The bacon they use in the burrito is delicious it has a smokey bbq taste to it. This is definitely the best breakfast burrito I’ve tried so far. If you’re a foodie you’ll love it!“
“Hands down the best fried chicken in allof LA. And given all of the amazing choices, this is a very serious title. I prefer the 3 piece chicken, but the sandwiches and sides are bomb too. Quality, texture, taste, flavor and execution cannot be beat! Crispy, juicy, tender and bursting con sabor! I absolutely love Lucky Bird and crave it regularly. Don’t miss out!“
“All the staff were soooo friendly and attentive. I enjoyed every minute of our time. We got the bruschetta, croquettes, truffle fries, and smash burger. Everything tasted sooooo good. Honestly top burger of my life next to Gordon ramsey burger! I have never had a burger that didn't need Ketchup but this time it was so perfect the flavors of the burger were soo much better than adding Ketchup. Highlt recommended. It's also so nice to go during happy hour to try more things off the menu for cheaper.“
“First time visiting this restaurant but I wasn't disappointed. Visiting from Georgia so I was glad the food was really good. I had the French toast combo and didn't even need syrup for them. They had powder sugar and vanilla butter. Definitely five stars❤️❤️“
“Visit the hanger often but this was my first time trying Plaid Sheep. The cashier was so friendly and nice! (Ear plugs, knit beanie.) Such great customer service. Really enjoyed the soup and sandwich (grilled American cheese with grilled onions.)Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian grilled cheese with vegan cheese.Parking: Lots of parking and some ev chargers on north side.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in, but I don't think they have automatic doors. But the whole facility is on the first floor, and tables can accommodate wheel chairs.“
“Stopped in found this spot on Yelp. It was empty when we got there but soon a crowd of people showed up. We were able to speak to a regular who raved about the burgers. So that made me feel good. We placed an order for 2 bacon cheeseburgers and a mushroom Swiss burger, an order of fries and chili cheese fries and 2 drinks. It took about 20 mins for our food to be done. Burgers were cooked perfectly. Fries were nice and hot and it wasn't overwhelming. The staff were great and the place was nice and clean. We will surely visit again if we're in town.“
“we were hosting our wedding party to get ready before the ceremony and these guys saved the day when our original plan for food fell through. we showed up out of the blue with no notice and they sprung into action to get the group fed. everyone loved their sandwiches and salads & they even helped us get the ball rolling at starbucks by calling ahead for our coffee order. can't thank them enough they came in clutch for sure!“
“I stopped by The Liberties during the week and absolutely amazing. If you’re like me and like a mellow, chill ambience with great drinks and food, this is the spot. Everyone is friendly and the service is top notch. I’m definitely coming back here to hang out.“
“This is a very cute breakfast place. The ambience and service was perfect. We had the waffles and avocado toast and both tasted really good.Docking a star because they didn’t have a working espresso machine which is not a good look for a breakfast place.Service was painfully slow as well.“
“Having seen it featured on Remarkable Places to Eat, and read the positive recommendations on Trip Advisor, I had to visit Glen's Kitchen when I was passing through Bristol. Caribbean cuisine is not normally high on my list of choices for a meal; however...... I got to Glen's just as breakfast was finishing and before lunch was starting but Glen and his staff looked after me and served me as quickly as they could. I chose the Goat Curry with rice and peas. It was absolutely delicious. I now appreciate how enjoyable Caribbean cuisine can be and will return sometime to try the J*** Chicken. Glen himself came out to see me and I was touched that he took time to do this. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble for himself and his staff. You will have to seek out Glen's Kitchen if you are a visitor to the area as it is off the beaten track somewhat but it is well worth the visit. The fact that people go out of their way to eat there says it all. The food, value and service are superb. Glen deserves all the praise he has received and I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone who likes Caribbean food, and even those like me who are not connoisseurs may find themselves converted!“
“Honestly when I came here I expected to be another downtown restaurant that is kinda expensive with average food and small prices. But I was very happy to find that the food is very flavorful and filling. It's a great place to frequent for lunch. I'd love to come back and try their creative drinks!“
“I went there for lunch with three friends. It was sprinkling and cold so we went inside instead of the covered patio area. Inside was very noisy, we could barely hear ourselves speak. The area is small with a huge bar. Next time we come we will try the patio area. The food and service were great.“
“janell has been very friendly great service very knowledgeable. Nice place first time here. Most importantly service has been awesome friendly smile. Great music drinks great. I had sangria, shots of fire ball amaretto. Awesome. Can't wait to come back.“
“Did not know this place existed. I've been to the driving range multiple times and this is the first time I see this place. Service is quick, food is good but the best thing is their beer prices! No better way to enjoy golfing than enjoy a nice cold draft beer with a view.“
“This place is conflicting for me to like. The place has 5 star food but the owner definitely charges different prices when he wants to. And he says charge everyone $1 for credit card use. If the food wasn't so damn good. Probably would never be back. I think he charges Tip but doesn't tell people so his menu should be adjusted. We believe in tipping 20% at most places so when he charges the tip already. He does a disservice to himself because he probably would have made more when our family comes. We normally come in droves.“
