“I was on a delivery call out to Artesia and after driving for over an hour to get here I got hungry so I looked at my surroundings and as far as restaurants go there were slim pickings, but out of the corner of my eye I saw this Mexican restaurant across the street from the fast food place I was going to settle for.I'm glad I looked around because I discovered gold!I've been to many Mexican restaurants all over LA county and this one is in my top 3 from hundreds of others. The food is original and the flavors really come through onto your palate.I could taste the fresh chicken inside my enchiladas, I could taste the freshness of the green sauce, I could taste the lemon on the onions that topped my enchiladas, I could even taste which chiles they used for the hot sauce they brought with my chips while I waited for my food. Everything had its own flavor but it was a compilation of true freshness that can only be achieved when you truly value your craft and this amazing restaurant is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to honest, fresh, and flavorful Mexican food!If I lived nearby I would eat here 3 to 4 times a month. The variety of dishes gives you so many options it's impossible to repeat the same dishes in 30 days! LOL.I loved the atmosphere within his family friendly and I definitely loved the food. You can trust me on this, Oaxaca Village is as authentic as going to a Mercado in Guadalajara or a Fonda in Huatulco.Get here as soon as you can, you'll thank me later.Parking: A few stores in this little strip mall but you can also go around the building to find more parking.“
“Went to this place after a reccomendation from a friend after the Lakers Nuggets game. The food was amazing. Big portions do. The service was so good by our waitress Lili that was just amazing. My son loved this place and want to come back ?. Ask if you can get Lili as a waitress when you book. Just an amazing dinner after a great game ?.We be back“
“If you are in DTLA, be sure to go to Cilantro Lime ~ food is fantastic! Solid flavor, spice, heat, great texture, just simply delicious. Chilaquiles are some of the best i’ve ever had - not soggy, just the right amount of sauce, and the eggs were cooked perfectly.Owner was there, clearly he loves his work, and it shows! Staff were all nice.Vegetarian options: I don’t eat meat, but they can make chilaquiles without meat ( which is what I had), but they also have vegetarian meat options. These guys will hook you up, just ask.Parking: I’ll be stopping by each time we pass through LA. It’s in the heart of the fashion district, if you don’t want to deal with parking, order it for pick up and just hit one of the parking lots that charge $3 for 10 min. We found metered street parking just a few blocks away. Meter was $6 per hour, I would have paid $20!“
“First time trying this place and i let the cashier know and they were welcoming. She recommended the tacos dorados de brirria and they were gas 10/10. I ate a burrito and it was a . solid 9. I was dissatisfied with the Horchata it tasted like gas station horchata but with a little more sugar. Horchata was a 6.5/10. Other than that the whole experience was amazing. This business has got itself another customer .“
“The service and the food is top quality! The inside is just like taquerias in Mexico tabletop and benches. I don't know why we haven't been here before we frequent the shopping center. Didn't get a chance to take a pic of the food because we were hungry. Ordered a papa con asada, taco Sonora and regular asada tacos. All of them were delicious. But by far my favorite is the Sonora taco.“
“What a great local spot . It might be a hard place to find however the food is worth it . I usually order the carne asada torta it comes with a tortilla chips and a side of a grilled Chile . They definitely have a great portion of meat and the don't skimp you out on the avocado.“
“We drove around yesterday and found this hidden gem! Omg was i suprised! We ended up getting the Molcajete for 2 and ended up leaving with leftovers! Huge portion for the buck! Plus fresh hand made tortillas topped it off! My other family members got the huge packed quesadilla for my grandson..amazing! The 3 tacos plate combo with beans and rice! Delicious! And the Carnes asada and shrimp plate! Did not disappoint! They got fresh aguas frescas, we got the horchata. And the employees there were so polite and were so attentive to us. Im definitely coming back to try everything on there menu! Stomach fell in love with this place. Need to visit for the prices! Help support small family business like these!Vegetarian options: They have the options to provide a vegan meal as long as you order specifically what you want them to add to your order and im sure if you tell them you are vegan, they will make sure to attend to your accommodations.Parking: There is parking in back by the Barber Shop or 2hr parking in front. Plenty of time to eat.Kid-friendliness: They got kids menu“
“Bar Ama was busy on a Tuesday night - great to see! The restaurant has been refreshed with new paint and looks "spiffed up". The menu has some new items (cavatelli with duck ragu!) besides the usual fabulous favorites (squash blossom quesadilla for example). The pitcher of margaritas is a good value at $36 which gives 4 generous and potent glasses. Support one of DTLA's best neighborhood finds in the Historic Core. We are fans!“
“Hidden gem-- owned by a friendly Mexican couple from Jalisco, Mx. All food tastes like your fam made it! My usual breakfast meal are the Chilaquiles because of the tortilla crunch and spicy kick- paired with café de hoya. The couple times I've been there's always families enjoying their meals. Parking available and easy to walk to.“
