“Today is my 4th time coming here, close to my house near South Gate park. I've had breakfast 3 times & today I came for a Sopa de Gallina. I must say their food is delicious, the presentation is very appealing & their service has been consistent & pleasant. I would highly recommend you come in & try it for yourself. Thank you for the great food & service. Jose D. ?“
“If you’re looking for authentic Salvardorian food, I’d say this is it. Menu seems a bit basic but did not disappoint. I had popusas and a elote tamale. The tamale was delicious and moist. The popusas were made fresh, but didn’t wow me. I noticed a B rating which made me worry. Atmosphere is authentic and homy.“
“Seen the bad reviews no mames if your a real salvy you eat them pupusas with your hands the best pupusas in town the one that was on Elizabeth bakery closed down decades ago so I found this spot what you expect these ppl are cooking the food fresh so theirs a wait time and it doesn't disappoint 5“
“It's a family owned business. The people are lovely. I love coming here for pupusas, I've had the queso, revuelto, queso con frijoles, and the chicharon. There will be a little wait as they make to order, but it's definitely worth it. I come out of my way to come here for quality and consistency.“
“Very friendly service. We placed a phone order so the food was ready when we got there. They had a good ambiance with the hockey game going and the decorations were really cute. They gave use a good amount of cabbage and sauce. I did ask for more because I love cabbage a lot. Only thing I would like is more spicy sauce next time.“
“This place is my favorite to eat pupusas. Being from Mexico I can tell you that they are truly delicious, of a good size, not greasy and also at a good price. The place offers a great variety of Salvadoran/Central American food and also some Mexican dishes. It is very clean and organized and the attention is very good. I highly recommend them.“
“I visited this lovely Salvadoran restaurant and was impressed by the authenticity of their food. Every bite transports you directly to El Salvador, with homemade flavors that really stand out. From the pupusas to the delicious soups, the dining experience is simply exceptional. The attention to detail in each dish shows the love and dedication the staff puts into their cooking. Without a doubt, a must-see place for those looking to enjoy true Salvadoran cuisine in a cozy and authentic atmosphere.“
“Delicious Salvadorean food. Completely enjoyed the Desayuno Típico. I had to try their pupusa revuelta and I must say by far one of the best I have tasted. Service was amazing everyone I came in contact with treated us like family. A true hole in the wall. I especially loved an ice cold beverage by the name of Fresco De Chan. Me encanto desayunar en este restaurante. Comida deliciosa auténticamente Salvadoreña. Ordene el Desayuno Típico y estaba delicioso. También prove su refresco llamado Fresco De Chan y estaba tan Rico y refrescante. Definitivamente regresaré!“
“I place an order over the phone and the service was very friendly. For being a first time customer, they gave me a free drink.I love the Pupusas because are not greasy and the flavor is really good. Prices are affordable.Don’t get confused with the Pupusas place next door. Trust me, the other next door are terrible. This is a small spot.“
“2nd time here. Had to come back, aannd will be back again!! Ordered the Sopa de Gallina. One word to describe; AMAZING!! The chicken breast was well seasoned and super juicy. Still in love with the rice. The broth, you can taste the passion, skill and time it takes to achieve the flavor. Always remember to be patient, great food doesn't take 5 mins. It was hot out today, but super fresh inside.“
