“Super friend staff and amazing food! Everyone was so friendly and helpful but, most importantly, the food was SO good! My husband and I both got different omelets and both were so good. We ate until we were beyond stuffed because the food was THAT good! He got a Bloody Mary that was one of the best I’ve had out here and I got a mimosa. Perfect little brunch atmosphere and set up! ❤️ You can not visit Lake Tahoe and pass this honey up!”

“Good food ain't fast food, so if you come in/call in during a really busy time, please note there could be a little more of a wait than normal. (They also get a lot of phone orders). Sometimes there might be also circumstances out of their control. And we are all human after all...
Enjoy one of the few Chinese places left in this town before it's all gone! After older generation is gone, probably there'll be no more real Chinese food, probably i think within the next decade or two. Appreciate what you have now.
They also get a lot of folks from other towns who say they wish they had a restaurant like this in their city, and this is customers' own words. And when you actually get a chance to taste what their food really tastes like, then you'll know why they're one of the best, and recommended by maybe hotels in the area, also other customers own words as well. Prices/quantity are better than what you get in Stateline/Casino side, where most things are usually more expensive/smaller. This restaurant is one of the few family run restaurants left in town...”

“Freel Perk Cafe was a great stop for us on the way back to San Francisco after a snowboarding trip. The place has a really nice atmosphere, and we loved the positive messages written on the walls, it makes the space feel warm and welcoming.
I had a matcha latte, and it was one of the best I’ve had. I don’t like sweet matcha, and they were happy to make it unsweetened for me, it was perfect.

Their team had fantastic communication throughout the planning process (shout out to Andreas), showing up right on time to handle the entire setup. To top it all off, they handled the entire cleanup and left the space perfectly clean. If you want amazing Mexican food and stress-free service for your next event, hire them!”

I also tried one of their specialty fruit teas, and it was so refreshing and full of natural flavor. The menu has a great variety to choose from—whether you’re into traditional milk teas, fruity blends, or creative specialty drinks, there’s definitely something that will catch your attention. The portion size is very large for an ice cream sandwich ( i noticed from other orders) The vegan cookies were pretty good if you like crunchy cookies. Overall, would come back again! Maybe they could add some vegan ice cream options.”

While the prices aren't GREAT, they are good compared to many resorts especially if you have a season pass.”

The food was delicious, portion was plenty and great service. We ran into the owners outside putting on some lights and we ended up chatting for awhile. Really lovely couple. “As many others have mentioned in reviews, the service is pretty slow. They obviously have a system that works for them. But probably isn't in the best interests of paying customers. We waited 30 mins to be sat and another 25-30 minutes to be acknowledged after seating. The prices are a bit steep. But overall, the view, setting and food was excellent. The server was pleasant and punctual on check-ins once our meal arrived. One of the best fish fries I've had west of the Mississippi. Hense the 5 star rating. If you're impatient, this might not be the place for you. If you have all day to relax and dine, then give them a try! Extra points for letting us bring our pup to dine with us!”
