Beer Gardens in South Lake Tahoe, CA

“This place is awesome, nickey the bartender is great. Really dog friendly. Not like other places that say dog friendly but very limited. Nickey loves the dogs, gets the fireplace going and you feel like you’re at home. Well worth the stop. Oh yeah the beer is really good too?“

“Food is just food trucks with pretty good food nothing to write home about tbh.The service is always incredible. The selection of beers is huge and all of them are delicious and varried. We enjoyed the blood orange ale. However I've also had the nitro cream ale and both are awesome!!!!“

“We stayed in an indie king room with the bunk beds. The location can't be beat and the food (breakfast, beer garden) is quite good compared to other offerings in the area and convenient. The restaurants our particular weekend all filled up early. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and s'mores firepit. There was a wedding one night, but the hotel shut it down right at 10pm so it was quiet, and we were on the side directly above the beer garden. Biggest downsides is the walls are thin (the lady next door fell asleep with the tv on) and the heater is very loud / or not that strong. But we were there in fall so maybe it's stronger in the winter.“

“Delicious place to stop for après ski. We had the mini pretzel, the sausage plate and a peaches and cream strudel for dessert. All were tasty choices and we were glad to enjoy them after a day on the slopes. The servers were friendly and the decor was as if you were in the mountains of Germany.“
