“This place felt like home. As on out-of-towner the long line went quick by talking to people about how great this place is. They warned me on the Howlin’ heat level but I had to try it. I went to order and Justin was great vibes! He talked me down from two Howlin’ wings to just one. Good looks my friend. I went with a Country Sando. Medium wing. Howlin’ wing. The guy that gave me my order handed me some gloves for the Howlin’!!Medium wing was solid, could definitely eat a whole meal of that.Sando makes me cry just thinking about it. I don’t normally go for slaw, but I didn’t want to rob the sandwich of how the chef created it. Man I’m glad I was right, that thing was perfect.Howlin’ was great dry rub, made me cry and sweat pretty good. Slow burn that kept climbing and wouldn’t let up haha! Couldn’t finish, my body was telling me NO MORE! Still hitting me in the stomach tbh. It hurt so good! Great time. The staff checked in on everyone and I was able to meet a lot of workers, very happy to interact with them like that.Only downfall was the Sweet Peach Tea. It was more of a juice and couldn’t finish it because of the taste.Other than that, this place should be on everyone’s list if you’re from out of town. Gotta give it a try!“
“If you're from out town this place is a must, great price and food quality. Don't underestimate their spicy chicken. The food items I got were the Mild Sando Chicken Sandwhich, and their Fries that comes with crispy chicken bits, pickles, melted cheese and dressing.“
“MAAAANNNN I decided to stop in on a whim and was blown away.. some of the best crunchiest and seasoned chicken I've ever had.... I'm a Black guy born and raised in Chicago I know my fried chicken lol !!!I wish I could pack this place up and take them back to Vegas with me!!“
“We ordered the hot chicken sandwich & hot tenders with fries and the elder flower lemonade. I like spicy, so i ordered the hot & wow, it was extraordinary. The burn is bold but also very nuanced & complex. To my delight, it was so spicy, I had to space out my consumption of it over a couple of days. The great news is, it still tasted great cold the next day. That pillowy bun held up & that beautiful fresh slaw was still crisp. The tenders were a similar ride, but seemed like it had a different breading, less battery than the sandwich, but worked great, totally tasty. This place has great chicken, hands down impressive. The fries were just okay, but that's not really why you're going to this place. Point of personal preference, I always want cold standard ranch when I'm enjoying hot chicken to cool things off. Both ranch like offerings from Day Bird (daybird sauce & jabanero ranch) contain a fair amount of hot pepper as well, so they don't really bail you out in the clutch. Thankfully, as we had to try a bite in the parking lot before we drove home, the elder flower lemonade was also delicious, and helped counter the instant burn. Over loved it. Will bring friends back to enjoy some more soon.“
“The chicken burger was very tender and juicy. loved the pineapple set it apart from the other chicken burgers. Restaurant is super clean and organized and great service. wings and fries were a bit to crispy/dry to my liking. The Jojo fries were perfect and onion rings. Also got a complimentary drink for being there anniversary. Definitely coming back.“
“The best hot chicken in LA frfr BOMB. Good taste, so fresh, and it's obviously made with amazing quality chicken. Every time I come the staff at the front and inside the kitchen are always super nice and always accommodate my request. This place never lets me down.“
“A little pricey for what you get. Dude at the cashier is not friendly what so ever. After I paid for my to go order, the receipt printed out and he was standing there waiting for me to add a tip. Personally, if you want a tip, be polite and friendly. And I believe tips should be given if the service is great or if someone eats in and they have to clean up after them. Not just because.. again, I would have tipped if he was polite even though I’m taking it to goParking: Not much to talk about“
“Some of the best CHicken sliders i have had in the heart of Glendale. Driving pass here after seeing someone, We decided to stop by here and grab some Chicken spicy sliders and non spicy ones. Food was finger tastin good with pickles, mayo and all the good sauces. Staff are cool as hell. Gotta love Hot Chix, You always want em hot. Wish i could hang in Glendale often, But ill be back again when visitng my kinship over here.“
“If you want to see what real hot chicken should taste like then you should stop by and try this place out. The brine is done so perfectly that the chicken just falls apart. The seasonings they use taste amazing. I never get tired of this place from the chicken to the fries to the sauce everything is amazing! The service is always top notch and the inside is actually clean and tidy so you can sit down and enjoy your food!“
“I got the inferno chicken sandwich and the shrimp, and let me say I tapped out on the second shrimp, but I finished my chicken sandwich. If you love spicy foods, this is a great place to get them. I dont suggest you try the inferno unless you eat really spicy stuff. My lips are purple, and I was about to cry. That's how spicy it is, but it's good. Really recommend this place. Plus the staff is friendly.“
“Finally went to one of the last two Pioneer Chicken restaurants in Los Angeles. Even though the location is in a busy and bustling area of Boyle Heights...it is well worth it!After our local one closed years and years ago..I can say the flavors are still as perfect as I remember: chicken that's juicy on the inside while wonderfully crispy on the outside, coleslaw that's creamy and delicious, spicy rice that's cooked to perfection, and last but not least - the BEST fluffy biscuits ever made - that can only be topped by smothering them with real butter! The excellent and friendly service make this Pioneer Chicken a gem!So... Make it one of your "go-to" places - you'll be glad you did!“
“The food here is delicious! But, one of the employees there, little Latino kid who always has earbuds in while customers are coming in, tends to IGNORE you when u come in for food. He, does it deliberately it seems to run customers away so he doesn't have to work. It's, seriously pitiful because if it weren't for him & his "turtle service" this place would be five stars. They, should get rid of him & choose a person who REALLY cares for the customers & wants to work. Regardless, of this particular employee this place has delicious food guys. It's, just sometimes u will need to YELL to get them to come to the front counter to order! Outside, of that employee I mentioned the food is delicious for the third time! ❤️❤️❤️?#He'sBADforBusinessVegetarian options: Menu is small but they have options for anyone who doesn't eat meatParking: Sometimes, the parking can be super congested when they're busy. Because there are other small restaurants inside the lot as well, not to mention a nailspa.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“First time coming here and despite a small mistake on my order, Aldo who attended me as cashier went out of his way to make it right!. There was a young lady working the back kitchen area who also went above and beyond to make sure my party had a great experience overall. I enjoyed the food, taste was on point, ordered a variety of items such as wings, egg n bird sandwich, grilled chicken avocado bowl, Mac salad, and banana dessert. Definitely coming back, staff was professional, and friendly.“
“This place is pretty good as far as hot chicken goes. It's not the best but it's decent, I've ordered from here plenty of times. But Rays is still at the top. They don't really have much of a space for sitting in and dining. So if you want to eat you need to go down one of the nearby alleyways and sit at the tables there.“
“I did not really eat Korean food during my 2 weeks in Japan, so I was craving Korean food. I've known of the bb.q Chicken chain for a while now, and I saw they had a branch in Alhambra. I cannot eat a ton of fried chicken on my own, but I saw that this restaurant had other dishes as well. I decided to come here and give bb.q Chicken a try. They had a free soda with Yelp check in. My wife got a diet coke, and I ordered water. The restaurant gives complimentary pickled radishes. The staff are very nice and friendly. My wife ordered the tteokbokki, whereas I got the kimchi fried rice. I was torn between the fried rice and the bulgogi poutine, but I also knew I wanted rice, so I got the kimchi fried rice. My wife and I shared our dishes. The tteokbokki was good, sweet and spicy. The rice cakes were a nice texture. The kimchi fried rice was also solid, but a bit spicy for me.Given how close it is to me, I will definitely come back in the future to try their fried chicken.“
“My experience at Dave's hot chicken was good. The staff are extremely friendly and social and the atmosphere is warm and exiting with amazing outdoor seating. Me and my peer got a soft drink, fries, tenders, and a chicken slider all of them extra spicy. Extra spicy is like a 7/10 for me (my spice tolerance is kinda mid but better than the average). The fries and chicken were crunchy but the food is quite greasy. Chicken is heavily seasoned. We went finished the food at around 1 pm and our stomachs started hurting. Its 10:35 PM right now and my stomach still hurted. Both had an irritated stomachand I had to take medicine for the pain to go away. Overall, would reccomend to people that can take the spice and are enjoyers of heavily seasoned and greasy foods. However, people who cannot tolerate spice, grease, and HEAAAVILY seasons foods should not come here. Praying for anyone who's stomach gets upset by this chicken ????“
“I'm glad this tasty, family-run restaurant is in my Los Feliz neighborhood. Happy that they've expanded their menu because the Persian Armenian food is delicious. Never had a bad meal, and never had anything but friendly service. Solid, un-pretentious, and relaxed. I dig it.“
“Wow, what can I say. First time coming to this spot, ordered at the kiosk and our order was done in 10 minutes. We ordered the #2 Monty's Favorite & the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Looking at the price I was a bit skeptical BUT after we received our order I can 100% say it was worth with every penny. Portion sizes were great, the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. Do yourself a favor and please try the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, absolutely DELICIOUS. Haven't had a chicken sandwich that good in forever.10/10, will definitely be coming again soon!“
“Gareth was the best representative of Dave’s Hot Chicken, he answered all questions and did it with a smile. First time eating here and it was amazing, hot, fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere with great music! We will be back several times ?“
“Came here on a night that they suddenly got slammed. Initially my wait was going to be 15 minutes but turned I to over 30. The guy behind the counter was super cool and apologized and even threw in the mac and cheese which was superb!!!! I ordered a box of the jumbo tenders and the sandwich, again both just hit the mark. I'd highly recommend this place. Give it some local love for sure!!“
“This is my go-to place when I’m in Whittier! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with garlic fries and garlic spread. It was delicious; each bite was a delight, and the presentation was 10/10. I also had the best server!! Her name was Angela and she was so professional and had an amazing customer service. She was very nice, polite, and welcoming with a beautiful smile on her face. I would come back just for the service! Also, the ambiance in this place was very inviting and comfortable.“
“delicious chicken hainan rice!I honestly prefer it to Savoy, as the lines are not out the door and the chicken portions here are consistent and huge!! I have tried the regular chicken and the fried version. Both are excellent. It is more of an order to go spot, but there are a few dining tables inside. The parking here is a small lot, but it is rarely full. There is also no bathroom for patrons =( The service is fast.“
“Dined in at 2pm on a Friday and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I was greeted by the worker at the register. She asked if I was dining in or take out and I told her "dine in." I was seated and given the menu, plates, utensils, and even pickled radish right away. I took some time to study the menu and both workers checked in to see if I wanted any recommendations. One of the guys was very knowledgeable about the wing sauces and the menu but I didn't get his name. Eventually I gave them my order and I waited about 5 minutes and my food came out one at a time. Cheesling Fries (9/10) - The cheese powder on the fries were amazing! It wasn't too overpowering or too cheesy. The fries were hot and crispy. They even drizzle it in the secret sauce. It was very well balanced together. Rose Ddeok-Bokki (8/10) - The first few bites tasted like it needed more seasoning and flavor. The more I ate it, the better it got. It was not spicy for me and it was a great combination of creamy with a small but of tang. The rice cakes were soft and chewy. It was also very delicious overall.Secret Sauce Wings (8.5/10) - The chicken wings were very fresh. The batter was still crispy and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and sticky. It reminded me of my favorite childhood Chinese dish, Peking Pork Chop or sweet and sour pork chop. It did get soggy once the wings sat too long. Soy Garlic Wings (7.5/10) - The soy flavor overpowered the garlic in these wings but overall a really solid choice. The wings were also hot and crispy with a sweet and salty sauce. Overall, the food is 8/10. The service was 10/10. They checked in with me at least every 10-15 minutes. They gave me napkins without asking for it. I had a very pleasant experience!“
“If you’re looking for one of the best chicken eateries in LA, look no further. Rockbird offers chicken that once you’ve tried, it won’t be enough even though it’s massive. The chicken is moist and juicy. The flavor is savoring. Start with the chicken tenders and work your way through the menu. You wont be disappointed“
“Flavor. It’s one of those places you go for an easy delicious meal. No bathroom, no amenities; only incredibly authentic Nashville chicken. Humble family owned business. Their daughter has been there with them since she was 2. They came from Armenia to America to follow the dream. Seems they have accomplished it. With another store, actually brick and mortar restaurant and a third undisclosed location coming to LA plus both restaurants have 5 stars. Come on. The best.Kid-friendliness: Kids love chicken tenders.“
“I tried this place for the first time today and I plan on going back very soon. The Garlic Chicken sandwich is absolutely delicious and a deal at $9. I took it home to eat and it kept very well, through the journey also. I even ate the second half a couple of hours later and yes—still insanely delicious.“
“The chicken is fantastically brined with a great brioche bun. I like how the food comes out in nice porcelain plates and serving dishes as well, it's an elegant touch. The piece of chicken is truly a sight to behold. It doesn't fit in your mouth. It won't fit unless you unhinge your jaw. I'm not saying you should but it was so impressive it was difficult to eat. If you're a fried chicken aficionado like myself you're going to want to come check out honeybird!“
“Been coming here since I was a teenager and the food has always been good and exceeded my expectations. If you get the plates you will end up with more food than if you get the wraps. The only negative part about this place is the parking. Many different stores in this place and not enough parking spaces. There are one or two handicapped spots too which are always full so try to find a spot even if it’s further away from the store.“
“Chicken is delicious, and the sides are very good portion. The parking, however, is a nightmare. Also, the place needs renovating. The inside seating area area looks run down and old. However their food is very good and for that reason this place is a must visit.“
“Dinah's is the quintessential classic fried chicken spot! Located on the east side of Los Angles—this place is a hidden gem tucked amidst the swank Galleria shopping district in the foothill enclave of Glendale, California just beneath the Vergudo Mountains. The ambiance is a perfect blend of folksy and traditional with carved wooden furniture and ornamental decór laid about in a fashion not dissimilar to what one might expect to see in an old guard Dixieland dining room of a grand home in the southern United States. The seats, tables, and flatware were all exceptionally clean and the restroom areas were also noticeably well-kept. Service was top-notch with polite and pleasant staff readily available at every turn. Food was served within minutes of placing our orders and came out piping hot with generous portions and no room for regrets. We ordered the Chicken Dinners, which come with three pieces of perfectly crispy golden fried chicken along with two sides and a dinner roll. My order included mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and an extra chicken drumstick for $1 as part of the Friday Special. The potatoes were rich and smooth. The mac was creamy, oozing with cheese, and it had a perfect bite to the pasta. And the dinner rolls were as to be expected. I could not have been happier, as this place satisfied my every craving for southern comfort food without all of the off-putting qualities of a standard, fast-food chicken spot. If you're in the mood for a good fried chicken dinner the way it should be done, at a reasonable price, Dinah's is the way to go. Five Stars across the board.“
“Dino's has always been a staple when it came to a unique recipe of char-grilled chicken with some Greek heritage thrown in. The sauce is immaculate and separates Dino's from any other chicken option you'll come by. Downside is prices have gone up since prior years.Be sure to get the fries as well. Last time for some reason mine was drenched in much more sauce then the others so feel free to let the staff know your level. If you're not leaving with yellow fingers you're doing it wrong!“
“The food and service was excellent. The ONLY thing is the WATER! I don’t know why but there an odd taste to it. I thought it was only me, but I’ve brought several friends here and they all have the same comment about the water. Other than that I can’t complain.“
“Finally!! This location knows how to make a slider! My son is obsessed with Dave’s so we have visited many locations, even AZ and MI locations. Glendale knows that a slider should have coleslaw, some other locations have put such a small amount it’s like 5 pieces of slaw. Thanks for a great slider.“
“This place is really good. Service was great. I got the chicken bowl this time. Rice has good flavor, the chicken was cooked perfectly soft, tender and full of flavor veggies are fresh and not over cooked. Their pomegranate sauce and garlic sauce go perfectly well with the bowl.“
“I was craving some rotisserie chicken with beans and rice. This place just looked like it would hit and it did not disappoint. My only regret is that I did not bring cash with me so I couldn't leave a tip. I'll just have to double my tip next time I stop by. Give this place a try. The parking is a bit tough, but it's worth it. Oh, and get the papas horneadas.“
“I was in the mood for fried fish, which I've not had for quite some time. I remembered that Louisiana Fried Chicken on Lake served this meal, but I haven't had fried fish in over 5 or 10 yrs.I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very hungry and really wanted something tasty and fulfilling. So, I gave it a try and ordered the Fried Catfish and that dinner did not disappoint. It was perfectly seasoned and perfectly fried and I enjoyed every bite. What I really appreciated, is the fish tasted very fresh and the cost is more than fair. Thank you Louisiana Fried Chicken for cooking it up, right!!!“
“The best Mediterranean/persian/armenian food in dtla. I had the half chicken plate and it was HUGE and very filling. The prices here are unbelievable low and the food quality is amazing. Very clean on the inside too and friendly workersWould definitely come here just keep in mind limited parking nearby“
“Seriously the greatest roast chicken I've ever had in my life. I usually am pretty squeamish in regards to eating around the bones, cartilage, etc, but this chicken (and the 32 spices seasoning) had me going to town. Absolutely addicting. As for the service, it is run by a lovely couple with a no nonsense attitude. When asking for recommendations, the man simple replied "they're all good," and after eating the #2 I wouldn't be surprised. Give it a shot, and see for yourself!“
“Besides the friendly service and great food I was privileged to see an elderly couple walk in and take all the recyclables from the trash can and were greeted with an awesome hello from the lady up front. I'm glad she allowed them to take the aluminum cans and not kick them out like other places.“
“(Translated by Google) The food is so delicious, I recommend it 100%, they brought the food to school, the delivery service is fast and the people are very kind; thank you very much for making our day special with your delicious meals ?????(Original)La comida es tan deliciosa se las recomiendo 100% nos trajeron la comida a la escuela el servicio a domicilio es rápido y las personas muy amables; muchas gracias por hacer de nuestra día especial con sus deliciosas comidas ?????“
“Coming from a Mexican culture our food brings family's together through its bold and spicy flavors. Food to us needs to be all about flavor and let's not forget that our food is not complete unless accompanied by a spicy salsa and tortillas! I've passed through this place numerous of times and never had the time to stop in. Well today I'm glad I was lazy to cook and remembered about El Pollo Pio Pio. Their chicken has nothing on El Pollo Loco nor Sevans Chicken. Its full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I purchased the family special that consists of 2 whole chickens, 4 sides (rice, beans & coleslaw), HANDMADE tortillas and a salsa! Ok so for all this it was less than you would pay at any other places. I'm not a big fan of coleslaw but this one was delish, their salsa was a little salty for my liking but definitely had all the flavors going. The rice and beans were also great in flavor. Overall I would rate this place a 9 out of 10. I think if they added avocado to their family special it would be all so much tasty and a 10 from me! But then again I love avocado with everything ? if you haven't already tried this place its a definite must. I will definitely be coming back!“
“Solid Korean fried chicken and kimchi fried rice. Order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. Chicken pieces were large and exterior was crispy, soy garlic sauce was good. Shared parking lot with a lot of other interesting restaurants.“
“When you get those munchies for some chicken and waffles there’s only once place to go and that’s Roscoe’s.Been coming here since my high school days and this was always the Sunday brunch spot to gather with friends and catch up.I’ve always get the same thing sometimes extra sides but come hungry to eat till your get the itis aka food coma.Always a family friendly spot.Actually went here during Xmas eve and honestly it was the perfect place for that late brunch to fill in your cravings. My goto is the scones 2 with dark meat chicken all smothered in gravy, 2 waffles and eclipse juice which has lemonade, orange juice, and fruit punch.I’m weird that I have to take out all the meat off the bones, set my waffles up with all the fixings, and then devour everything in one sitting. It seems like I’m taking a while at the beginning but I usually am the 1st one done eating cuz I just love having that sweet and savory set up.I haven’t had this meal in years and I’m soooooo glad I went, totally brought back great memories and a fully belly. It can get crowded and crazy busy so just be mindful of the time you go thinking about Sunday fundays and when church lets out would be the busiest day times.Don’t forget that dinner rush.Everyone who works there is usually super chill, they know you’re hungry, wanna have a good time and catch up with family so be patient if and when there’s a rush.Order at the table and pay at the front as you exitGotta try it at least once in your life.I’ve been to all their locations in the LA county and they pretty much have the same vibe. This one just has a bigger dining area and the parking is easier to get to.Vegetarian options: Waffles, grits, mac & cheese, beans, greens, mashed potatoesParking: They have a lot of it gets full just park in the neighborhoodKid-friendliness: Always a family friendly place“
“I only tried fries. But their menu looks delicious! (Fries were ok) I bought them for my 5 year old unfortunately he didn't like them so I was forced to eat them Parking: There is no parking, in the parking lot the vehicles are blocking eachother. Goodluck.Kid-friendliness: People were friendly.“
“There's a self order kiosk, or you can talk to the worker to order. The chicken sandwich is flavorful, meat is juicy, and such a massive portion. Prices were not crazy either and pretty inexpensive. Fries were a little oversalted and not evenly seasoned but not bad.Parking: There is a decently big row of parking spots behind the building, but it can get busy as the day goes on.“
“Started going to the original spot in Tujunga before this one was opened. Used to eat here regularly when I lived across the street. The food is still good but you don't get the same options as before and the last few times they didn't have what I wanted. Prices have jumped (a lot) and this started before "inflation". Although I checked the website for the prices when I arrived everything was more expensive. When I brought this to their attention they said the website wasn't updated. How is that my fault? Lastly the main thing that bothers me is they charge a credit card fee, and a high one at that. Recently I put in a large order for myself and some family and forgot about the credit card fee. Barley had enough cash on me. Tip: order online and pay by card. And tell them to remove the credit card fee.“
“Chicken Day is my favorite fried chicken spot - I've been going for over a decade now having tried the best chicken in NYC, Nashville, and of course, LA and this is THE spot. So underrated. The original fried chicken is my favorite go-to with the sauce and extra radish but honestly, the entire menu is great - you can't go wrong.Parking: In a plaza, there's always a lot of spots. If not, you can just park in the streets, there are no meters so you never have to pay.“
“This randomly came up on one of the delivery apps, and my husband decided to order it for Sunday dinner. It came fairly quickly, and the food was nice and hot. The smell is what hit me first. It smelled so good, that hint of smokiness to the chicken. We ordered a chicken, which came with grilled onions and tortillas, and the cecina which came with beans and rice. As soon as my mother-in-law tried it, she said we are not allowed to order from El Pollo Loco again, we can only order chicken from Regino's. We all quickly agreed. The food was so delicious! We sometimes get pollo asado from street vendors, but this is the best pollo asado we have had. The cecina was good too, but the chicken was the star of the show. Highly recommend.“
“The best roasted chicken ever .. the flavor is awesome . It can compare to El Polo Loco as far as style and menu but this taste is 10 times BETTER I promise you.. the rice has green onions and chicken pieces The marinade on that chicken whew i will buy if i couldKid-friendliness: Basic indoor eating casual spotWheelchair accessibility: Basic restaurant fast food couple of handicapp spots to park“
“Not many people in front of me at the time I went. I believe it was one person and the time it took to order was fast about 3 minutes. The food was ready within the next 10 minutes. Ordered a bucket of chicken and sides. It was good but nothing to great. Will be back againParking: Parking right out backWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheelchair accessable“
