Love the brisket and tri-tip, and the cornbread is always great! If you want good BBQ in east county this is our favorite!! “My order was for takeout....and it was ready right on time. Everything was absolutely delicious and prices were good! The Satay chicken was tender and flavorful....Pad Woon Sen was fresh and light with crispy vegetables. Cream cheese wontons were great and served as dessert. The portions were generous with plenty left over for a second meal. Pretty sure Little Thai Kitchen is now my favorite Thai food spot!😊”

“I enjoyed Ayumi. The speciality garden roll was very good, a bit pricey but really delicious. The garlic edamame was good and the popcorn green beans were super delicious. My husband said his stomach was hurting very bad the next day and he had the runs and he thinks it may have been the rolls he got. I felt ok but I also didn’t eat any fish. My husband also had the spicy dumplings, the sauce they were in was pretty tasty. My husband also said the spicy tuna was really really spicy. He loves a spicy tuna roll and I don’t think he’s ever complained about the spice level but this time he did. Just be warned if you don’t like spicy. I would go back to be honest but I’m not sure my husband would want to. I wish I’d taken more photos. The plain lo mein was ok, I hoped it would have like some green onions or something in it but it really is just plain, not awful but plain (it’s advertised that way tho so I was fine with it). I added some edamame, the crunchy stuff from the popcorn green beans and chili crisp from the dumplings and it elevated it a lot. Atmosphere was fine, smaller dining area but still plenty of space. Service was good.”

“I absolutely loved my experience at Stir It Up Coffeehouse! ☕️ The coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and clean. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It’s the perfect little spot to relax, enjoy a great cup of coffee, and soak in the cozy atmosphere. You can really tell they care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back all the way from Toronto to this place!”

“Probably the best pizza spot in town! I've tried Jerry's for lunch on five occasions now, and each time has been a home run. Great food and great service. I have tried the Pepperoni, Supreme, Meat Lover, PBJ, and Hawaiian pizzas and I have not been dissapointed. I also tried their Pastrami sub, it was great but slighty overpriced IMO. Their 2 slices and a drink for $10 is a good deal, I just wish they displayed more options. If you're nearby, this should definitely be your go-to spot. Staff here is always friendly and easy to talk to. Knowing you're supporting a small business is a huge plus as well.
Only downside is I'll probably eat way more pizza than I should for lunch now😅

“Really good bread I couldn't stop eating it! It was warm and soft but crunchy outside. The place is really small even though it looks big on the outside. They have bread and a few sweet pasteries and I saw they gave lollipops to the kids!”

“A sore throat and achey joints had me sending my husband to get a container of arroz caldo. The food he brought home is **EXACTLY** what my body needed. My throat isn't hurting anymore, and the taste is gentle enough for this white person's pallete to enjoy, while still savory and delicious. The actual chunks of ginger and chicken (bone included) provide an extra bit of perfection. Will DEFINITELY be back.”

“Went to dinner with family last night and had amazing experience. We ordered the spring rolls, lemonade, Vietnamese coffee, chicken pho for our kiddo and rare/well done steak for ourselves. Portions are huge, pho is incredibly flavorful, and to this day they serve the best Vietnamese coffee I have tried from any Pho restaurant in SD (and I have tried many)!!! Restaurant was busy (you know it's good when the restaurant be crowded), but they served us fairly quickly and staff were very sweet. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for great Pho place near Spring Valley Area.”

“I ordered the onion burger as a double and it was very very Hardy next time I'll go for just a single Patty but the taste out of this world phenomenal I will be going back to try other stuff on their menu it was juicy the cheese was just the right amount better than In-N-Out better than your fast food Burger it's outdoor pop up type of place but recently it looks like they bought a spot right next to where they're serving so we'll be having indoor seating as well I was bummed out because there was no aguas frescas but will be going back the owner said his wife makes them fresh and switches the flavor daily. But highly recommended.”

I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with French fries and dined in. The total was $9.15. Overall, I wasn’t very impressed.

The burrito was on the smaller side, and the filling-to-tortilla ratio could have been better. There was more tortilla than I would have liked, and the tortilla itself was a little overcooked. The hot sauce was okay flavor-wise, but it was very watery.

It wasn’t a bad meal, but it also wasn’t one that stood out or made me want to come back. For the price, I was expecting a little more in terms of portion and overall quality.”

“A surprisingly pleasant experience. This was a Sunday night around 8:45 pm. First time here and ordered the basic SD local order of carne asada fries. I ordered in, instead of to-go and it was a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly. Ranchera music playing in the background and a few other patrons enjoying their meals. They clearly take the proper time and care to cook their meat because my asada came out incredibly juicy! My fries were perfectly cooked, not a single one undercooked. Their salsas are fantastic, with a good amount of heat with each flavor. Prices are about the average for San Diego, and well worth the price! I intend to come back and try out more of the menu.”
