Going there reminds me of the 70's. Mom and Pop (couple new guys this last time) shop. Have bigger requests, but will get your sundae to you in between, fast. Support local stores. Have to bring cash.
This place is awesome! Totally brings me back to my childhood. I love the Oreo Twister! Dairy Queen, who?! The FF Twister is wayyy better! I've also had the chicken strips- those were very good, too.As for the service, I've never had a problem with it. The employees have always been professional with a hello greeting and a goodbye and thank you. This place has been a favorite of my wife and her family - and now all of us - for half a century! She is addicted to their deep-fried burritos (simple but tasty little gut bombs they are) and the peanut butter fudge shake I created for her. (I'm also partial to the banana fudge shake, but all the ice cream goodies here are luscious!) My mother adores their strawberry sundaes and shakes. Foster's may play havoc with your calories, but sometimes that's the cost of happy.
