The costumer service is great we eat the ranas alambre which it was good ( I personally don't like the taste of the cheese they used) me and my husband decided to have a date but when we were to order the drinks they didn't have the pulque than my husband order a margarita and I order a pina colada when we order another margarita they say they run out of margaritas which is weird on a Tuesday afternoon when there is only 2 couples eating and us I think a restaurant should have everything every day if not just give a menu of what you have available in the day because is disappointed to order 3-4 different items and they don't have them also it will be a better idea for plates like this to give 4-6 tortillas instead of only 2

Enjoyed the mojo and Verde mole dishes with chicken. Generous portions, the beans were nice and creamy, and the rice was cooked and seasoned well. Large portions of chicken on both plates. We would have liked the sauces a little more flavorful, and we kept looking for some heat. Disappointed they no longer have chicharrones on the menu (even though it is actually on the menu!), we ordered chips and guacamole. We learned when the bill came, we were charged for chips and salsa and separately for guacamole. The chips were great, but the salsa was bland. We asked for some hot salsa and were brought some green (mild but tasty) and red (finally a touch of heat!). The salsas added a lot to the food.

Heard about this place through a fb foodie page so we decided to check it out. I was excited to have a pambazo since it had been ages since I've had one. I was not disappointed! The Chilango pambazo was exactly what I was hoping it would be. We also tried the huarache with Pollo en Cacahuate, which was a mildly spicy peanut sauce and absolutely delightful. The white mole enchiladas were tasty and unique and the service was great. We can't wait to go back.
I'm in love with the cafe de olla!! YUM! Menu is different, food and service were great! Definitely a do over!

Ranas is the best! The food is so great; the people are so nice; and the drinks are cheap and delicious. The tricolor mole enchiladas (see picture below) are fantastic—really complex flavors. And the pambazo is a torta meets a wet burrito; they’re my favorites.

Ranas was a pleasant treat located in Spring Valley. My friend mentioned this spot and it hit the spot for breakfast. I ordered the rajas con huevos as well as the pambazo that had chorizo and potatoes. The flavors for the pambazo really popped and hit all the right notes. The rajas con huevos was also delicious and tasted fresh. The customer service was great, the seating area was clean and the patio area was a nice bonus as well. I will definitely be back! Eat up!!!
