I've always loved Casa Flores. I love their fresh house salsa and chips, the gravy and cheese dip, beef tacos, beef quesadillas..but THIS location has molcajetes! I hadn't been to this location and the drive was shorter than the usual spot so I decided to try and was not disappointed. I will definitely be going back.

They spend time in this place and demand a tip from you and charge it as if they had good service. Be careful, they relive their receipt.

I can’t rate atmosphere due to the fact that it was door dash. But I have been there and it’s great place. We ordered DoorDash and food came hot and delicious hence the 20 min drive for dasher. Best Mexican I have ordered on DoorDash. The food was perfect and just silence when eating that’s how you know it’s good.

This restaurant is in my top 3 for mexican food here in Stockton. I like the chicken enchiladas with stuffed peppers. The shrimp AL Diablo is super spicy and good.

Excellent service, great food. Nice relaxing place with fair prices. The servers are always very friendly. Everyone is extra nice. I look at other people's reviews and I just don't believe them when they say service was bad. I come maybe 2x a month. Lately I been doing happy hour tacos with the wife. We get a burrito to split as well. My one year old son eats a grilled chicken taco. Margaritas and beer the whole time. We love it! Gravy and cheese, tons of chips and salsa. Today I watched the playoffs on their TVs while drinking a beer and munching tacos. I love Casa Flores and the staff is genuinely good people. I once bought a neon light off Facebook market place and it turned out to be the owner I bought it from. He was a very nice guy. I told him I always loved going to his restaurant and he gave me a biz card with 25% off. My one year old son loves all the women who work there. I really can't say anything is bad. My favorite is fish tacos. The asada and pastor tacos rule too. For burritos I love asada, pastor or grilled chicken. They are more authentic and create a better burrito imo. The crispy tacos rule. The tostadas rule. The combos are awesome. Casa Flores is a great little spot located on the fringe of east Stockton and Linden. I never had anything to ever complain about ever. If i wanted to nitpick, id say the chile relleno could be improved, lol. Could be more stuffed of a pepper then fried vs the way they do it. But whatever. It's a great restaurant ran by good people and staff who are very nice and friendly. I get what I like, and I'm never disappointed. A+ restaurant.

I won’t lie, I typically go into sit-down Mexican restaurants for the chips and salsa.. I mean don’t we all? They had okay chips and salsa—nothing special and the chips weren’t warm. The rice and beans were typical, but the beef flautas were good! I loved the way they were fried. It was a good place to stop during a long drive.

Update: Monday, December 18, 2023 PMWe are here probably 2 to 3 times a week. We enjoy the food. The servers are awesome! We know what to order and what we can expect.Tonight I tried something different with the grilled chicken salad. It was very good. Thousand Island dressing is good.My son ordered his two enchiladas…this time with grilled chicken and only the light gravy. He said they were probably the best enchiladas he’s ever had.Angelica is an awesome server. Friendly and very efficient. All the servers are excellent. They will make sure that your glass of soda or water is never empty! You’ve got to order the deep-fried ice cream for dessert‼️If you’ve never been here, give them a try!———————-Update: Saturday, December 9, 2023 PMEver since we rediscovered Casa Flores a couple months ago we’ve been back several times. It has become our favorite Mexican restaurant. My son gets his usual…two cheese enchiladas à la la cart with the light gravy.I have been ordering two chicken tacos à la cart.I have had a couple of different ways the tacos are made here. The first one…they deep-fry the taco shell and chicken together which makes the chicken hard and almost like jerky. The second and BEST way is to ask them to put the chicken in after they deep-fry the taco shell. Then the chicken will be soft, moist and very delicious. Now that I found that out, that will be the only way I order from now on.Give them a try!———————-It’s literally been years since I’ve been here. This used to be on our Mexican restaurant rotation and then we started going to Don Luis. But since Don Luis is not as good as it used to be, we’re trying different Mexican restaurants again.Chips and salsa were good. The fountain Diet Pepsi was excellent! For dinner I ordered the combination plate which included a beef taco, chicken enchilada, chili relleno, chili verde, rice and beans. The rice and beans were excellent. Chili Verde was good. Chili relleno was tiny with way too much batter. Chicken enchilada was good. The beef taco was MISERABLE! Tough and chewy. Not fresh at all. Certainly not cooked to order. I don’t demand much from restaurant food but the one thing that’s important to me is that it’s cooked hot and fresh. Disappointed. The service was OK. Couple of times I had to get the servers attention to get a refill on my drink but all in all it was satisfactory.I’m going to have a hard time getting past the bad taco. I’m not certain we will return here. This is a convenient stop for travelers going through town on Highway 99. It’s only about a half a mile east of Highway 99!Cozy little restaurant. Playing authentic Mexican music.Parking: The majority of the parking in front is not lit up at night. They do have lights down the east side of the building in route to the restroom when they remember to turn them on. Then it is well lit up!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair or mobility scooter accessible
