I went to Commissary for the first time this week and it was really good! I had the cowboy burger. It wasn't huge but neither was the Brice. You can get an extra patty if you want. All the toppings were good and complemented each other well. I chose tater tots for my side and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They gave a generous amount as well. The staff were all friendly and helpful. This is a new business so I hope they succeed!

Food - 4 stars. Ambiance - 2 stars. Overall 3.5. This place seems to be striving to mostly cater to take-out customers. It's clean inside and has ample seating, but the tables and chairs have seen better days. I noticed some customers staying (as I did), but many picked up orders and probably went back to work. Breakfast and lunch only in case you didn't catch that. My breakfast burrito was very good!

Round 2! Today I had the Mad Cow Burger and all I can say is wow! The best burger I have had in a long time! The fried egg adds an exquisite touch to the taste and the fries that come along with it are just right with the crisp. I found my definite go-to burger spot! Enjoy!

My husband and I both work downtown, and we love meeting up here for lunch. The prices and portion sizes are great. The only thing I would say that i don't care for is the wait time, we usually go after the lunch rush, and we still wait awhile for food.

Came by to give this place a try. They are super friendly and the food is fresh and fast! It's off the beaten path but well worth the effort to find parking downtown. The breakfast burrito was awesome! I will definitely be coming back.

The food was fine. Reminded me of a burger joint for lunch. I can get burgers anywhere, I like a different flare. Doesn't have any gluten free bread which would appeal to Keto & Paleo diets.

Stopped by on February 25th to The Commissary at lunch time. Place was busy, was expecting a long line wait but employees took care of orders in a prompt manner. The food was delicious. I ordered the Confused Cow sandwich with an order of tater tots. Everything was prepared to my liking and timely. The condiment bar is stocked with a variety of sauces along with mustard and ketchup. Overall, my experience with the Commissary was great. Definitely will stop by again as their menu had a good variety of items I wanted to try. Happy to have an establishment like this in Downtown Stockton!

Had the Pastrami Burger basket with Tots today for lunch. I called in our order and a co-worker went to pick it up. Upon her return to the office it was still piping hot. Burger was delicious (just like I remember it being from Flip's) and the tater tots were nice a crispy. So happy to have a new place in the downtown area that serves great food, has impeccable customer service, and really cares about its customers!

I have been to the establishment twice since it opened, both times having the Kitchen Sink Burrito. I can honestly it it is a very good breakfast burrito and it's definitely worth the price. I have yet to try the burgers but I have been told they're good, so I can't comment on any of those. I have seen the sides like tator tots and chili cheese fires, they look pretty good. I can't give five stars as they are new and still improving, specifically on how fast they can make the food. Times can be a little long for an order but it has improved from the opening week, hopefully they continue to find their groove. One thing I will acknowledge is the fact they are willing to accommodate the meals, example making the burger Protein Style for those who don't want a bun. Or even making the breakfast burritos into a bowl to make it Keto friendly. Service has been extremely polite each time I have gone. Glad to have more options downtown, hopefully if it's possible they'll add salads to their menu in the future, would add more options for people trying to eat a little healthier lol. Worth a try if your downtown.

Found this place on Yelp and I'm glad I did. Ordered turkey burger with sweet potato fries. Delicious, moist and juicy. Cooked just right to top it off, their ranch are homemade. Super friendly and chill environment. Awesome customer service! Definitely recommend this place!
