I ordered the bbq today and it was just ok. The ribs were pretty dry, the chicken was good, the link was good, the Mac n cheese was pretty dry, the potato salad lacked seasoning in my opinion. The meat had no sauce on it, I was given 3 small containers of bbq on the side. I know food is costly now but the plates were way overpriced for what you get. What really caught me is the customer service. They've been broken into many times which is why I wanted to give them a try. I work nearby and know buildings are always getting broken into and that can be costly. I want to see them succeed. Maybe today was a bad day but the chef (I assume) didn't even come up front to say hi or thank you or have a nice day. There was really nobody else there. The girl at the front was ok, she wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly either. I just really felt like the customer service was lacking. I'll still go back and try one more time I do want to see them succeed.

I am rooting for this local business as they deserve all the support they can get. I ordered two items off their limited menu: fried chicken sandwich and fried chicken loaded fries. I thought the crispiness of the chicken was absolutely perfect; however, I did think the chicken meat itself lacked a lot of flavor. I thought the fries were cooked to perfection and tasted great with the spice blend that I believe the owner created himself. Some things that would have made it a lot of better was if they had added some lettuce or onions to the burger as it was literally just a piece of fried chicken sandwiched in between 2 buns for $12. The loaded fries could have used some more toppings like onions, some bacon bits, jalapenos, cilantro, and maybe drizzled with a homemade creamy or spicy sauce. These additions would not only take their food to the next level but just give the food that extra pop of color to make it more appealing! The store was hard to find and was located on a one way street in downtown Stockton. There is not a clear sign outside on the building besides a stand up sign outside. From the outside, it may look closed. Tip: I parked about a block away and decided to walk. They are at the end of a chain of stores located right next to a parking lot! It was also empty when I visited and there was a lot of seating. The service was great as they took my order and had my food ready within 10 minutes. Although I understand it is located in downtown which can get more dangerous at nighttime, I wish they had the option to do delivery or be open later as this would made a perfect a quick dinner or a late night snack delivery. I hope to be back to try some of their desserts.

Deceptively good chicken sandwich. No muss no fuss all buisness. Just a thick piece of chicken with an extra crunchy fried finish, topped with spicy mayo on buns. Straight to the point delicious.

My husband and I had been seeing Eat at Clark's on Facebook, and the photos of the pulled pork looked so delicious, so we had to go try it out! My husband got the pulled pork sandwich and I got the pulled pork fries. The food was so delicious. The pork was juicy and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really put a lot of love into their food. The Clark's are super friendly. They take the time to chat with you and make the restaurant environment really comfortable and warm. We'll definitely be back!

So I was doing a downtown field trip with my students and I stumbled upon Eat at Clark's! The staff is really friendly. I am sure the smiles will great you well. They are a lunch place and meal prep place only. They have one lunch special a day and always chicken salad. The flavors are amazing but I would like to have seen a little bigger portion for my $13 lunch plate. The ambiance needs a little work. Maybe a fresh coat of paint some decor in the walls and a little style. I would go back and recommend.
