The food has reduced in quality over the years. I absolutely loved this place but last 2x I had food poisoning from eating at L&L. Hope they turn it around but today it's a no to food poisoning.

We've been to numerous other L&L Hawaiian Barbecue restaurants and this one was pretty similar. We came into town for the weekend and wanted to pick up something quick to bring to my mom and grandma. We had the seafood plate, katsu plates, mixed bbq plate, and a garlic shrimp plate. Everything was delicious, except for the beef being way too salty. All the chicken (grilled and katsu) were fabulous. Will definitely be back again when we visit, but won't be ordering the beef.

Very good food! The gravy is so delicious and their prices are reasonable compared to their competitors! The family Picnic meal is a deal!!!! Everything I tried is very good!

? the one in Sacramento near florin road is newer (yes, kind of far) and it was AMAZING. The people here are nice, the food is pretty good but I’ll probably only go to the other one because the food was better. This location has a larger menu to select from though! Not disappointed but not quite for me. I was hoping to get the same meal as the other location but they didn’t have it listed. The soda machine was clean underneath which is a good sign! (I could see from my table) ?

Customer service is an all time half a star. I couldn’t even order food. I walked out. Whoever. The incompetent young lady is, should be tried as a dishwasher until she can handle customers.

L&L in my opinion is quite generous in the portions it dishes out especially in an era where everything seems to be down sizing. The food is always tasty and fairly priced. Service is fine with a smile. My favorites are the chicken Katsu and the BBQ chicken . The Island fish is also on my list. Lately I've discovered their cheaper Lighter menu which offers either BBQ Chicken, garlic shrimp, or garlic fish. Instead of two scoops of rice (or macaroni) you get one scoop but also a surprisingly amount of fresh salad greens. I always purchase a can of the Hawaiian sodas with my meal that takes me back to my vacation in Hawaii in the past. Lol.
The restrooms are always out of order unless you are family of work crew and they are not broken for them and I've been there many many timesParking: If U find a spot to park which is limited then people start parking along the front entrance area and then it's hard to leave when U want..

I don't like leaving negative reviews but the way the restaurant smelled was repulsive . It smelled like filthy sewage water and made it difficult to enjoy the food. Not to mention the quality of the food has gone down, it lacked any flavor. The service was ok, they really didn't interact much with us so I have nothing to say in regards. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and needless to say it left us without a want to return.
