? the one in Sacramento near florin road is newer (yes, kind of far) and it was AMAZING. The people here are nice, the food is pretty good but I’ll probably only go to the other one because the food was better. This location has a larger menu to select from though! L&L in my opinion is quite generous in the portions it dishes out especially in an era where everything seems to be down sizing. The food is always tasty and fairly priced. Service is fine with a smile. My favorites are the chicken Katsu and the BBQ chicken . The Island fish is also on my list. Lately I've discovered their cheaper Lighter menu which offers either BBQ Chicken, garlic shrimp, or garlic fish. We've been to numerous other L&L Hawaiian Barbecue restaurants and this one was pretty similar. We came into town for the weekend and wanted to pick up something quick to bring to my mom and grandma. We had the seafood plate, katsu plates, mixed bbq plate, and a garlic shrimp plate. Everything was delicious, except for the beef being way too salty. All the chicken (grilled and katsu) were fabulous. Will definitely be back again when we visit, but won't be ordering the beef.
