First time here and I will definitely be back whenever I'm back in Stockton. Place is beautiful and food is the bomb. My favorite was the spicy Lao sausage and eggplant jeow! Definitely recommend.

Ordered thru DoorDash. The bamboo soup is good, nice flavor. The tomato and eggplant jaew as pictured were 6 each. I liked the eggplant jaew better however I would request it spicier next time if that’s possible. The soup was 17 dollars. The price didn’t matter at the time because I was craving this soup and only had this soup from somewhere in Sac. But I would probably only eat from here once in a blue moon.

I ordered the nam kao & fried salmon belly. Both were delicious. Generous portions. I was so full. The host & servers were very nice as well. Pleasantly surprised that I happened to catch the happy hour discount on my appetizer!

3.5*Visited Saturday 1/6/24. Really nice atmosphere and attentive young man server. Wasn’t busy at all, but it was raining a little outside.I tried the naem khao and khao soi. I think they’d be great for folks unfamiliar with Asian food since they’re inoffensively good and creamy, but it just felt too unrefreshing. This was my first time with Lao food, so it’s hard to know whether the food was good by their normal standards, but the flavor tasted kind of amateur or unfinished to me personally compared to Thai or Vietnamese cuisine. Next time, I’d ask for extra sides of lime and cilantro. Definitely need to try more dishes. The portion was satisfactory and there was enough to bring leftovers home.

Service and Ambience is great. Food is exotic! Too much pig guts and organs not really my types. Soups too thick need to improve texture; should serve it streaming hot instead of cold.

We went Tuesday night, they weren't busy. The food was served quick, service was great. The restaurant is spacious and clean. Price was reasonable. It was around $60 for 2 of us for this amount of foodKua Mee (5/5) we both like the texture and flavor. It's not too dry like other reviews said, but not too soggy. We asked for spicy and the spice level was perfect.Beef lapp (4/5): it was ok in my opinion. The beef was tender, the flavor is a but salty, it would be perfect to eat with riceKao Soy (4/5): it's also just salty flavor, but I think it is how it is since I tried it at other Laos restaurant and it is how it isMango sticky rice (5/5) you will never go wrong with mango sticky rice. It wasn't too sweet and perfect texture even though it's not mango seasonThai tea (4/5): too sweet for me. I wish they were able to adjust the sweetness, but even extra cream still makes it too sweet.

I was surprised how well-balanced the dishes were with spices and flavors. The flavors were subtle and no one seasoning overpowered the others. However, I can see why some people say there isn't enough seasoning/flavor. I liked the kua mee, the noodles were tasty, it would have been a little better with just a little bit of liquid, the dish was mainly dry like migoreng noodles. The mango sticky rice was also prepared nicely.

The name of the restaurant is catchy. We liked the fact that it has a comma and exclamation point in the name as well. We arrived shortly after they opened. The owner/ waitress had to put a bunch of round tables together for us since we were a big group. She was friendly, but service was a little slow. It took the food awhile for the food to be bought out.I tried the green papaya and laap, which were nice and spicy. For my main, I had the kao poon. I was looking forward to try their nam kao (crispy rice salad) and introduce it to some of the people in my group. It's one of my favorite Lao dishes that isn't too commonly found. It was a winning dish. I just wish it was a bit spicy. If you're in the Stockton area, I would recommend this restaurant!

Went to dinner with my cousin & Aunty. It's my cousin's favorite restaurant and my first time there. It's a cute little place and I like how they try to add some sort of Asian doctor.Services, pretty good.Bathroom: needs some work....Price: pretty pricey since it's not expensive to make and my mother-in-law or I can make it. But, everything after COVID is overpriced so what can you do....We ordered:Kua Mee - looks like pad Thai to me. Cousin's fav but it was too sweet to meKai Piak Sen - Lao version of Vietnamese Udon or banh canh - pretty goodNam Kao - yummySalmon belly - delicious!! Must haveEggplant Jaew- we wanted VERY spicy, it wasn't but good specifically with some sticky rice.
