“I’ve been here several times, usually with friends who eat here often or go for takeout. When someone says, “let’s go to the restaurant,” they know exactly what that means. La Fiesta Mexicana is well known in the surrounding neighborhoods, but perhaps a little under the radar in the balance of Stockton. Very diverse menu of delicious home-style Mexican food. Good selection of “mariscos y pescados”, seafood and fish. Fantastic home-made salsas! Last time I had a standard combination plate with succulent chili rellenos, and took home a tasty supreme shrimp burrito, all reasonably priced. Good food! I recommend this place!“

“Truck easily located of a main street in a parking next to a convenience store and a place that serves aquafresca and ice cream.

We ordered a grilled chicken burrito 🌯 and carne asada fries 🍟. Good portions on both the burrito and the fries. It was a a good burrito. Came with a couple of sauces, and one of them had a nice kick.
The flavor was good, but I can't say it made me want to come back for the same chicken burrito. Next time, I'd have to try an al pastor burrito to see. The carne asada fries were good, but I wish they used shredded cheese versus the nachos cheese. The steak pieces were flavorful. The fries were cooked well.

The workers were nice and professional. He mentioned that you can pre-order and gave us their business card, which was good to know. Several customers ordered from here during the short time that we waited, so it seems to be a frequently visited truck.

The chips and salsa are fresh and are also delicious. I’m working my way down their menu and I have not been disappointed. I recommend eating here often.“

“I’m a connoisseur of food. I eat all types of ethnic food. I’m not Hispanic. Somebody gave one star to this establishment and I do not agree. I have gone to this place at least once a week for the past seven years and what they serve is always consistently good. “Hidden gem. My new favorite Mexican restaurant. My boyfriend and I visited this spot for Valentine's Day and was amazed with the food and service. A little run down on the ourside but that's how I like it. I'm always down to support local mom and pop shops like this one. “I was up here for training all week long. I happened to find this place on google maps. It has a high rating, so i decided to give it a check out. Surprisingly, it was a food truck. But today I had the absolute worst experience I had ever had with this truck. I ordered the same thing I usually always order there. The young woman...who I rarely ever see there took my order, she even repeated it back to me...I paid what I always pay for it. Then the cook calls out a totally different order...I corrected them and said that's not what I ordered. She gave me hecka attitude when I said that. I told her that this was what I usually always order...she gave me "I don't know what you usually order," And they both reacted badly towards me. At this point I was pretty heated at the attitude I received from them, I was extremely P.O'd and walked away leaving them with the money I had already paid. I snapped a few pictures of their truck to post all over social media. I happen to work right where they always park so I'll make sure to tell everyone I see that goes there what my experience was there. I guess they got their last tip ever from me since I left without getting my money. Now I absolutely don't trust eating from there...I'm not going to eat whatever tainted food they would give me in the future. Don't EVER go to this truck. They lost a really good customer. This one is parked on Frontier Way in Stockton right off of Arch Road. UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW I went back and told them that I was going to post this all over the Internet and on social media. “Decided to try after hearing the menudo was the best. Didn't wait long for food to come out. Menudo was in fact delicious. Smaller bowl for the price compared to other places that serve bigger bowls though. Enchilada combo was ordered for party member as well. Enchilada had bland taste that was better after adding salsa. Came with side of 2 tablespoons, maybe, of rice and beans and a small hard taco filled with mostly lettuce. Guess they ran out of rice? Two of us ordered the menudo which came with microwaved tortillas...and quickly ran out of them even so. Waitress wasn't attentive, even though we were the only ones eating there. I have always ordered the birria with mole and extra tortillas. I mostly order to go - but I have eaten a few times in the restaurant. All the interactions with the staff were pleasant - no complaints. The food has a unique flavor and was consistently good for me.

I was disappointed to find out that the owners were unable to renew the lease of the building and closed on April 30, 2025. They have relocated to 116 N Santa Cruz Ave, Modesto, CA 95354. I am attaching fotos with information on their new location as of May 1, 2025 - in case anyone is interested in visiting them in Modesto, CA. - or would like to know what happened.“

“I eat at Tacos El Agua Dulce at least twice a week. The women and men on the taco truck are always friendly and attentive. The salsa is garden fresh, spicy and delicious. If you like spicy salsa/chile like I do, pay .50 for a side of the aguacate salsa!!!! I personally pay for 3!!! My top recommendation, are the Al Pastor tacos!! They're juicy, tender, not salty. The tortillas are hot and fresh right off the comal!!! Most Importantly, the food and costumer service is consistently good no matter where they are parked for the day. They're on Knickerbocker during the day, and across the street from the Safeway gas station on Pacific Ave. during the evening/night time. Highly recommended and you will not be disappointed.“

“I came here 3 times before I reviewed. I absolutely love this place. The food is perfectly delicious evey single time. You can tell they use quality meat and other ingredients. The dish that stood out the most to me was their molcajete. Yes every place has molcajetes now but they're all mediocre and have cheap meat. Nena's molcajete was definitely exceptional. Very delicious. Like dang, they even put a milanesa (breaded carne asada) in it and It was amazingly good, in my opinion. Every single part of the molcajete was on point. The chicken, the arachera, the shrimp and again the milanesa. And the cherry on top was the hand made tortillas. Like dang, even the hand made tortillas are regular, over course they're extra good. Even though we live around 30 minutes away, this is one of our go to's now.“
