The quality is mediocre, and my grandma worked at another Sherman's buffet and there is the better Sherman's buffet in Waterloo. The fried shrimp is good 4/5 Kung Pao chicken is too sour and sweet 3/5 Chow Mein is very tasty 4/5 Chow Fun is tasty but very messy, they didn't separate the rice noodles, they stick together in chunks 3/5 The food taste pretty good, but ultimately it's a "Hood Chinese food", Cheap, unhealthy, and messy. But the price is unbeatable tho, very affordable!

Stopped by here after school, limited options however it's pretty good. $8.95 for lunch time buffet, I love a good deal. Food is pretty good, I liked the boneless fried chicken and chowmein. All meat options are chicken, which I don't mind. Give them a try! The workers are very kind

I went in at 8:00PM and they close at 9PM the lady at the counter, advised me she didn't think it would be fair because we only have an hour to eat, which was completely fine with me. Thats all I needed. The ladies in here are very nice and tentative. The establishment is well taken care of and clean. The food is sooo good. I'm so glad I finically tried it. I definitely recommend this place.

Went here on a Friday for cheap eats and I have to admit, "mission accomplished ". We dined in for 8.95 not including tax and sodas were 2.29 for dine in and 1.85 for takeout. The beef chow fun was the star of the show, although there wasn't much beef. Most dishes on the steam table were chicken. They did offer egg drop soup and it was decent because it had chunks of tofu and eggs. The place was fairly busy with takeout customers so we were competing to get food from the same trays as the ladies were serving from. They also leave one spoon per tray, so if the ladies were serving customers, you just stood there waiting for the spoon,.That part was inconvenient. There were 12 or so trays, egg roll and cream cheese filled wonton skins took up a tray. Garlic fried chicken were from boneless, skinless chicken thighs. I had one piece because it was super rich to eat. I thought the salt and pepper chicken strips were good, but the orange chicken was too sweet. The interior and exterior is dated, but functional. The two ladies serving were super nice and accommodating. Overall, this place is worth visiting and I will definitely return..

Cheap and just what you need for basic Chinese food. Yes it's limited but they got basically everything you would need to fulfill a Chinese food craving. I would prefer coming here over any other Chinese deli. We loved the garlic fried chicken.
