“This food truck popped up on my social media and we have no regrets giving this a place a try. You know the food is going to be amazing when you pull up to charcoal meat being grilled. We ordered the papa rellena with al pastor, 3 tacos(al pastor, chicken, and carne asada), and 1 mulita(chicken). Flavors were balanced with spice and meat was very tender and juicy. Complimentary sauce bar was very clean and offered a variety of options that perfectly paired with all the food. Of all the meats, a must try has got to be the al pastor especially on the papa rellena. The area around was not particularly safe so just remain alert and we recommend coming during the daytime! The taco truck was located in the parking lot of a laundromat with limited parking! Workers were very friendly and quick with our orders. We will definitely be back for the food!“

“This is a nice clean little taco truck in kinda a sketchy part of town. It's in a gas station parking lot. The girls at the window were super nice and helpful. We got 2 burritos, it was ready in like 5 minutes and they were great! Really good tortillas, the burritos were huge and they didn't skimp on the fillings. We just had the pastor and carne asada this time but they have a couple of fun things like nachos and a hot Cheetos burrito that we'll have to try next time.“

“The food here is amazing! The moment you walk into the small store front, you are greeted with the amazing aroma of fresh tortillas. The tortillas are made by hand from scratch. The service is quick and friendly. Everyone behind the counter is constantly moving. They are grinding masa, frying up chips, chopping up the meat for tacos among other tasks. I cannot stress how incredible these tortillas are. Do yourself a favor and come try these tortillas!“

“My husband and I have a sweet tooth. On the way back home from Elk Grove I was frantically looking for a dessert place open and we didn’t want ice cream. I love churros so I was excited to see El MorraLite Churro stand was still open (till 9 pm). We slide in at 8:35pm. We were greeted with a smile and upon seeing a sampler box (who doesn’t love a sample box when you’ve never been someplace) we immediately went for the sampler. The churro tacos were crisp and the filling was fresh. The churros were warm, crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside with a variety of dipping sauces. We chose caramel and it was delicious. The cheese cake churro was firm and the perfect texture. Wish this place was closer to home. Would love to try the deep fried Oreos and funnel cakes! Next time we are in the area will take that small detour off 99 to get some yummy goodness for the ride!“

“The restaurant is inside the meat market, so go inside if you want cheap eats. The menu is limited and seems like birria tacos is their specialty. I ordered the super burritos and you can't beat it for the price. It's like 8.75 not including tax. The one take away from this place is the area is super sketchy. Park in front of the business and beeline it back to your car. I had a guy walking towards me when leaving the restaurant and he stopped in front of my car when I was able to get in it before he got to me. Beware of your surroundings.“

The food is awesome, the truck is spic-and-span clean, and the women working it are friendly, engaging, and helpful.My son and I stopped here on our way back to the Bay Area after a round of golf in Angels Camp. We both were in the mood for Mexican and this place showed up as the closest when we got into the Stockton area on Hwy 4. I am SO glad we stopped here!My son ordered a pollo asado super burrito. He couldn't stop raving about how good it was, plus it was HUGE. I ordered a super burrito bowl with carnitas. The meat was perfect! I always judge a Mexican place by how good their carnitas are. It has to have the right amount of salt and should have good chew from the flat top without being tough. Tacos El Pelon carnitas checked all the boxes!Definitely going to make this a regular stop when I'm in the area!“
