We got lucky since it was early it the week. The owner and his team jumped in to accommodate us and were so helpful! We got so lucky. Even though we were a last minute booking, they treated our large group with such care. The staff worked so hard and our evening was perfect! This place is a gem, not only for the fantastic food, but for the hard-working, kind-hearted folks working there. Thank you!”

Service was prompt, tea refills and boxes to go. The atmosphere is so quaint and cute. Dine in front of the fireplace, on the front porch, back yard or out front. You decide. Order at counter when you enter and don’t pass the yummy desserts!”

We’re visiting from Switzerland and were absolutely blown away! This restaurant is a true highlight for anyone who eats plant-based. Finally a place where vegans aren’t just an afterthought with one or two token dishes on the side of the menu, but are truly at the center.

The selection is huge, creative, and incredibly delicious. Every single dish tasted like it was made with love. We (my wife, two kids and me) enjoyed the variety of vegan meals to the fullest. It’s rare to feel this welcomed and seen as a family with special dietary choices.

A big thank-you also to our wonderful server, who was kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. We not only felt nourished by the food, but also by the energy of the place.

“Great double burger and fries! An actual smash burger, and with some tasty onions! I liked adding hot chilies to cut through a bit of the grease. The fries were delicious - didn't taste like frozen fries like many other smash burger places. Tasty meal!”

“Quite possibly, my favorite coffee shop in LA. Their Yala latte is so good. The coffee flavor is strong, but not overpowering as the cardamon cream balances it out with every sip. Not only is their coffee delicious, but their matcha is delicious as well. The fig and vanilla matcha latte is a must try if you like matcha. It’s sweet and tastes more of fig than vanilla, but neither overpower the matcha.

The only downside is that the space itself can get a little crowded & there isn’t much seating available. I wouldn’t recommend this as a cafe to sit and work at.”
