I never add any review before. This hotpot is the worst I ever tried in bay area!$18 broth has no salt!Bad service!

Will never go to this place again! They let me wait for 30 minutes after ordering, and told me they didn't want to sell to me because my order is not expensive enough.

Their original sesame oil sauce is the only best in Bay Area. Real tasty meat and other sides. Broth is one of the two best I've had so far. Legit food and service.

Need to double check all the gas line rubber pipes under the hotpot ASAP. Last week when we dined there, the rubber pipe busted and almost burn my leg.

COMPLETE TRASH! Never in my life have I ate at such a sham of a restaurant! No waitresses only one guy with attitude running around. No silverware or even plates or bowls! Or spoons!! They can't even afford to turn on the lights to keep the place lit! The prices are ridiculously expensive for such low quality cuts of meat and veggies. The broth is just some soy sauce in tap water!! The owners should Feel free to comment bc I will double down in how completely awful the whole experience is. People that actually liked the food and left reviews have honestly never eaten at a real hot pot restaurant.

The food is definitely not worth the price. Not fresh and taste bad. The bill is $100+. But you can eat much better yourself at home with 20 budget.

can make it at home!!!!! It's the first time I've eaten a hot pot that tastes like water. It's too expensive to be worth it. The bottom of the pot is the worst I've ever eaten, like a supermarket-bought hot pot that's boiled in water.Don't try to persuade people to come and eat, you will be very disappointed!!!

O M G they have duck blood. It's hard to find duck blood here in the States, especially in NorCal. I don't know if it's one of these "imitation duck blood" like the ones they have in SoCal or if it's actual duck blood, but it taste real enough to me. Duck blood is superior to pork blood IMO. I'd get slightly nauseated if I eat too much pork blood, but I'd be able to clear the whole plate of duck blood by myself. Their textures & tastes are very different from each other. I would definitely recommend getting this here if you aren't afraid of eating blood. As for everything else we ordered, it tastes pretty much the same as other hotpot places. I preferred the angus beef over the Kobe beef though. The Kobe beef was a bit too dry/rough for me, but the angus was very tender. We went for medium spicy this time, so it didn't burn our tongue/tummy. Pros: + decent portions + authentic offerings on menu + offers mild/medium/hot for the spicy broth + spacious & nice decor Cons: - menu layout in iPad could be improved - not all items have English translation Overall, it is pricey, especially for a party of 2, but I'd probably be back just for the duck blood.

One star ingredients, two star flavor, two star price and five star service.

This store smells so good -- the first thing I noticed on my first visit. We came here for lunch on a weekend and there was almost no other customers. Quite a lot or options to choose on the menu, even for the soup base too! We had a very nice dining experience! Ordering was purely on iPad and so pretty convenient.

Tried “Mao Cai”, which is too spicy and sour. No cow oil as well. Would not go back again, as a Chongqingnese.

one of them literally asked for more tips even he was really upset we came in to the restaurant. They have such an awful service, feels like a buffet with waiters asking for 30% tips.

Avoid this restaurant. It is quite ridiculous they cannot accept credit card as a payment. Can you believe you cannot use credit card to pay in 21st century? The crispy meat is not crispy and it is almost all flour. I recommend them to call it crispy flour. Can you imagine you pay more than 10dollars while the mashed shrimp has only two or three shrimps? Never go there.

We got takeout from here tonight and it was really good as always. We ordered the Chengdu spicy soup base. You need a large pot and boil several quarts of water. Then throw in the 2 boxes of spices and spicy lard rectangles they give you. This is my younger son's favorite hot pot since he loves spicy hot pots. It is so spicy that in order to drink the soup we spoon out the soup from where it bubbles at the top to avoid getting too much of the spicy oil. We bought the supreme lamb meat and udon. There is so much soup left we plan on buying some additional sliced lamb meat at either Hmart or Marukai and cook it in the soup again tomorrow.
