Really a hidden gem! I have passed this restaurant so many times and never went in. This Turkish food is amazing!There is an option you can sit outside and grill your food in front of you. The meat or kebab sticks sells about $9 per piece, so depending on how many you eat, you pay less or more. The tables are for 8 people but they can also join them for larger groups.I loved the shift kebab. Baklava was amazing, the service was great. They also offer fresh squeezed orange juice.Yummy!

A great find in the Bay Area if you're looking for delicious grilled meat options! I am constantly in search of juicy, nicely grilled meat and refuse to settle with chewy, hard and almost burnt steaks served in most restaurants ( especially if you also prefer medium well in certain cases, good luck!) And here's my latest find: Mangal, which absolutely delivered. The lamb chops were one of the best I've tasted in a restaurant in years. They use premium meat AND marinate and grill, and whatever their recipe is, it works and you get delicious soft meat to enjoy. I also tried lahmajun/ lahmacun- the thin crust flatbread with a layer of ground beef mix. The crunch was just right and that dish was delicious too. Happy surprise: If you are looking for kokorec because you tried it in Turkey and would want to find it again: turns out Mangal has that too! I ordered kokorec and the taste was amazing, just like I remembered! The kitchen clearly knows what they're doing. Kudos to the chef for delivering consistent quality across all the dishes we tried. Finally the service was also amazing. Our waiter Omer made sure we were always attended to, he was friendly and managed to even entertain my 4 year old daughter and now she wants to go back too. We will definitely be back very soon.

We had dinner at Mangal Turkish Grill on Friday night. I wanted to shut out to our server Omer! He is super nice and friendly. He offered to help us grill the food as this is our first time here. What a wonderful experience, and we wish to see Omer again!
