Probably the best dosa, idly, sambar and chutneys I've had in the Bay Area (compared to Madras cafe, Madhuri Idly Kadai, etc). The folks here are joyful and this probably has the best dosa, sambar and chutneys. Reducing one star as I hope they will have a vegan menu and alternatives (stop adding dairy products like milk, ghee, etc to reduce animal cruelty. Yes, dairy kills cows - please do your own research and learn about it!) But the folks here are super understanding and options...read full review

Food is excellent but I wish I could rate the restaurant based merely on the food taste. Cleanliness needs to be improved. There are mosquitoes flying inside the restaurant. The overweight guy at the front desk must hate his job. He never makes eye contact, never smiles, never says thanks and is frankly rude. Guru is great though.
