I don't know how it took me so long to discover this place. I used to live in NOLA for two years, and the breweries and beer/wine gardens are common places to hangout any time of the day. The good vibes at ShaKa on a Friday night remind me of NOLA quite a bit, but it's too bad yet understandable they close at 9pm.I ordered the beer flight with my cousin. This is the prettiest and most aesthetic brewery I have ever been to. There is a gorgeous mural, soft lighting, plants and dried florals hanging everywhere, a projector that shows jellies and other sea creatures, and lovely rugs. The staff have really thought of everything, including blankets for the outdoor seating (there are heat lamps but the blankets are a helpful touch), barley tea for those who don't drink or who just want some tea as a palate cleanser between brews (me!)...read full review
