Incredible Omakase experience! Unbelievable quality and attention to all details. Small seating guarantees an intimate experience.

I'm not sure where to start. I'm a sushi snob no doubt. LA has great sushi at all price levels. At the high end, you have to be unique and have the best ingredients. Sushi Iki which only does omakase does it better than just about anybody in town. Eddie, the owner and chef, is 79 with the energy of a 19 year old and he knows his fish. Be prepared to try new things, sir back and watch Eddie work his magic. If you want more info on anything you're eating, he'll tell you. If you want to treat yourself to some of LA's top sushi, don't miss this Michelin rated, one man show! An LA treasure for sure!

Celebrated my 30th birthday here. Everything was delicious! Chef Eddie was very fun to talk to and the service was attentive. Love the thick-cut fish on the sushi!! So satisfying!!!

Very good experience, but the course are designed to take away some of the focus for sushi. A little bit Americanized I would say.

Sushi master Chef Eddie and his sweet wife run this restaurant intimately and efficiently. The fish is of high quality with some pieces unique to lki. He offers only dinner omakase at either $100, $200, or an open tab to include King Crab. Service is excellent. Ambiance is elegant and cosy: beautiful wood paneling, stone and tile work with beautiful touches like a wall hung mini water fall. Reservations are a must and they request diners be adequately vaccinated for COVID-19. Highly recommended.Parking: Free parking at strip mall or in garage behind.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter and spacious table settings. Bathroom is also accessible.

(Jacob,9) My mom wanted to take me to a sushi shop. She wanted to take me because she once went here and always wanted to come back. The place is very small yet so cozy and clean. There are no assistance.Only him and his wife.Though they are very nice and get you fresh and yummy fish fast. The food is so fresh that you see the fish or crab still alive. But to me that makes me sad. Also the wife whom serves is fast and she folds the napkins nice. And don't forget they are both really nice.

I hate leaving this review because eddy is a sweet guy and the service and ambiance is excellent. However the fish is cut way too thick. So sad because I thought I could go here when Go's is packed.

If you're looking rolls and weird sauces this isn't for you. If you want to go for an experience that will blow your mind, Sushi Iki is the spot. Chef Eddie is a master and this will be the best authentic sushi you will eat in LA PERIOD. This is an experience you will never forget. I've been going for 16 years, and every time I go the same thing happens, I think how could this be so much better than any other place I've been. How is the fish so much better? It's Chef Eddie and his passion for the art of sushi. I know passion gets thrown out there but this man has been doing this for over 6 decades!! He is a master, he hand picks his fish. He carves out his own Uni, he makes every meal. Magical doesn't do IKI justice.

What a hidden gem! Eddie ricks! Private chef experience, prices not cheap, but size of sushi definitely huge. Eddie is super sweet and love what he is doing. Every 4 months different types of fish, all seasonable, homemade desserts are nice to end the meal. We are fans . Try this spot.
