The acai bowls are fantastic. The prices are way too high for what you get. Just know that a small bowl, even the basic ones, will set you back over $10. They have plenty of seating if you want to eat there but it is very easy to get a bowl for take out. Not much of an atmosphere, but it's not really the kind of place where it truly matters. Unless you have a good reason to stay and eat there, take your bowl to go. They have meters in the front and a tiny parking lot in the back.

This is my go-to açaí place. They have fresh fruit, great granola, and the best peanut butter. I usually go here after the gym as a reward. The best thing is the California bowl with milk.

I love acai bowls, and I used to go to the Ubatuba near my house in Sherman Oaks all the time. So I was excited to try the one in Tarzana. Unfortunately the pricing model is very different between Ubatubas! The one in Sherman Oaks lets you pick as many toppings as you want for a single price. Here in Tarzana I was only allowed to choose 4. It was still ok though because I had my own almond butter, honey, and banana at home, so I went with their Brazilian (strawberry, granola, and something else) and added pacoa (Brazilian sweet peanut powder) and added the rest at home. It was very tasty. The empanada was also very good - I got the margherita one. I probably won't be back to this location because it's much farther away and isn't as topping friendly, but Ubatuba is delicious!

Good place has a great digital appearance but not the best product. No other choices of smoothies except acai with different choice of milk of juice. I tried açaí with oatmilk, tastes like cardboard. When I asked to remake it the guy told me they can’t do it… I can’t believe it I think it should be a company policy to have satisfied customers no matter what !

Service was really terrible and ruined my whole dining experience. When I got to the cash register a male worker with dark hair that seemed to be on the younger side was very rude and impatient off the bat. He seemed to be in a bad mood and rushed me the entire time I was ordering which made me extremely uneasy and uncomfortable. I was going to dine inside as it was my first time at an Ubatuba, I ended up leaving as he continued to give me bad looks and ruined my meal as a whole.

The Indian boy who was working the register was VERY rude to me when i went in on Saturday night. He had a really negative attitude and didn't help me order at all. I dont think working at Uba Tuba is very difficult, unless u consider scooping strawberries manual labor. I felt discriminated against and will not be providng my service there again!!!!

I am updating my review and rating them a 5 instead of a 1. The owner saw the last review and immediately did something about it. There are no more employees just chatting around and the bowls have gotten a lot better. The experience is definitely back to the quality I expect from this establishment.

I've never had açaí like this before! The açaí had an interesting texture that I would describe as icy but soft. It was on the thicker side and did not melt right away like most açaí that I've had before. It tasted delicious and hit the spot after being out in the sun all day! What made it even better was that the fruits were all super ripe and so sweet. The workers here were nice enough, and the place itself was an okay size. There are a few tables inside, and maybe four more or so in an outside patio-style area that could seat two to four people each. Parking was not great, as there is no lot for Ubatuba since it's right on the street, so you'll have to find paid metered parking on the street. Despite the not so great parking situation, I will definitely be making my way back over here sometime when I am in the area!

Ubatuba Açaí serves the most authentic Brazilian açaí bowls I've ever tasted. The textures are perfect, flavors rich, and toppings diverse. The ambiance transports you straight to Brazil. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. A must-visit for açaí lovers!

Love this place. The acai bowl is really good. They are never the same portion size but good all the same. The empanadadas are not good to me.

Cons-açaí is not the best consistency-no private parking-they give limited amount of toppings

I've been off sugar for over a year now. So, when my sugar craving kicked up out of nowhere, I figured I'd get something on the healthier side. After doing a quick Yelp search I settled on Ubatuba Açaí . It was nearby and there was metered street parking available. I parked and when I walked in, I felt like I was back in a cafe I'd been to in Central America. I was politely greeted by the cashier who made recommendations upon my request. I got an Ubatuba Açaí Bowl with extra mango and granola. It was outstanding and hit the spot! The Açaí was cold and creamy and all the fruits that were added on were fresh and delicious. I sat, I ate and I relished my dessert. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. It's a healthier sweet option, vegan friendly and it's delicious! Bom proveito!

Ubatuba has been my go-to spot for açaí for years now. I can't deny that their açaí bowls are still as great as ever - deliciously refreshing, with that perfect blend of creaminess and fruitiness that keeps me coming back. However, I've noticed that over the years, the prices have gradually climbed to a level that's a bit hard to justify. While the quality remains consistent, it's become noticeably more expensive. For a longtime patron like me, that's a bit of a downside. Despite the price increase, I can't deny the açaí's allure, making Ubatuba a bittersweet tradition.

The place smelled strongly of cleaning products when I walked in. I ordered a samosa empanada to go, expecting a quick turn around . However, it took them 10 minutes to prepare and heat it. When I finally got it, it was too hot to eat for another 10 minutes. When I took a bite, I was 100% disappointed. The dough was tough and tasted like old frozen dough that doesn't soften even after frying. The filling was also terrible, with weird spices, undercooked potatoes, and bland green peas. It cost over $5, which was a waste of money for such a low-quality and tasteless empanada. I won't be trying their empanadas again.
