“I've been in Tehachapi for 35 years. I have seen pizza places come and go. With places like Old Town Pizza and TKs pizza here, I would say any pizza place would have to step up the game. We have a lot of pizza places to choose from such as Dominoes to buying a bake at home pie from Walmart. I feel like in order to become a successful pizza place in this town you have to have something else. Well this place is just that. We had an extra large half cheese half pepperoni for the kids, large chicken bacon ranch for the the girls and I. Along with a large anti pasta salad, 12 plane wings and an order of bread sticks. I have to say, I am not surprised that they are still 5 stars out of 46 reviews at this point. The salad was better than any other one I've had in this town. The ingredients seemed to have been cut and prepped after my order. The wings, no sauce, were cooked perfectly. Light crunch on the out side, not soggy and fully tender and cooked on the inside. The marinara sauce and bread was on point. Soft bread and light sauce. And the pizza!!! WOW. I haven't been this impressed since TKs pizza opened. This pizza is definitely a run for the money. Lots of toppings and cheese. And for all this food with a tip only $100 out the door. I ordered 30 min away from the shop and when I got there I was created with a friendly smile and my food was in front of me before I could put my wallet back. Still. They have lots more to try and I look forward to trying what they have. Two brothers pizza in Tehachapi is worth the wait, the price and the cheat day.”
“Warm and casual, friendly local spot for breakfast. Huge breakfasts that we couldn't finish and took half to go. Love not being in a touristy spot. Sweet decor, loved the low key vibe. I enjoyed my chorizo scramble, my husband's Chile verde omelette was nicely spiced with a good amount of chile. Give them a try if you are looking for a delicious, substantial breakfast. I should have ordered from their small appetites selection! The menu is pretty inclusive of all things breakfast, i.e, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, oatmeal. They have some vegetarian options as well.”
“this place is so amazing!!! Such nice people who work there and went there for dinner once and they gave my dad a free dessert and told him to just come back next time!! Absolutely amazing food came out quickly and was hot and delicious! I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a place to eat not that expensive amazing owners and delicious food!!”
“One of my favorite meals in Tehachapi is the Hainan Chicken (rice, cilantro, chicken, carrots, & ginger sauce) it’s a healthy option on the go. The owner and staff are always really nice. Would give 6 stars if I could.”
“With an Italian inspired menu and diner kitsch decor, Papa"s House is a pleasant little small-town restaurant. The staff took pride in their work and the food was both delicious and obviously house-made (not frozen or packaged). It is of the beaten path, but well worth the drive!”
“We loved this quaint little gem quite literally located on a tarmac. It was a great place to pull up a bench seat and settle into the slow and steady small-town vibe while eating a delicious cold sandwich and watching the air glider planes take off. I recommend calling and asking what the flight schedule is before coming in, if you're hoping to guarantee seeing a glider take off or land. We saw one or two during our time, was really fun to watch! The food was good and people were friendly. They had gluten free sandwich bread, as well.”
“We almost left because it was so packed there was no where to sit. But we decided it must be worth the wait so we chose to stay. We did find a seat shortly after, although we had to ask the staff to clean it off for us because they were so slammed with business they didn't see the dirty tables. The staff was nice when we ordered our food, I was just a little disappointed about service. It wasn't bad but everything else was so exceptional that I felt this was the only area that lacked. But back to the food, we ordered a meat lover's pizza, garlic Parmesan wings and cheese bread. The pizza was fantastic, the cheese bread was great and the wings were eaten before I could even take a picture. The pizza environment was welcoming and we will definitely be back for the pizza and to try something new.”
“Great BBQ great choices to try recommend to go early for the best choices of meat. The owners are great and treat the employees great so there always great service. Mano does so much for community it's a great restaurant”
“Our favorite pizza in Tehachapi! We love the stuffed crust options - herbs and cheese is my favorite. Jose had such great customer service! We will keep coming back.”
“I think it's one of the only places in town open past 10pm on the weekends. Sweet vibe. Great beers, made in house Dark & Fluffy Porter definitely my favorite!”
“Had an amazing breakfast there this morning. The table time was super quick. The time between ordering and receiving your food. The food was plated beautifully. Because the visual of your meal is important. Our server was on top of it. With coffee refills and checking up on our table. One of my favorite places to get breakfast in town.”
“Came by on a Friday afternoon, and there were a few tables full but they had room for us. We were a party of 6, and they have a table that can accommodate 8! We all ordered various items from the Lunch special menu which is $11.99 for a meal. A great price in my opinion. I got the Lunch special: spicy basil with pork 8/10 Very flavorful with good spice. I got the mild and thought it was great. I also go Mango sticky rice, which was not as fresh as I'd like. The sticky rice seemed to not be fresh or soft and quite hard. Would come here for a cheap lunch!”
“Highly recommend this place. Seemed a bit expensive but everything is too expensive these days. Large portions and the service and speed of service are spot on!Parking: Plenty of parking in a private lot.Kid-friendliness: Reminds me of one of the good ol cafe's from the good days.”
“This was a delightful surprise, as we stopped only because of unexpected snow. Everything we had was housemade: the Italian dressing (FAB), the lovely goat cheese bruschetta, fantastic tomato sauce on the veal parm, a delicious veal marsala (not too sweet), and an unusual, but decadent pistachio cannoli. Well worth the minutes off the highway. Lovely service, too.”

“Who knew Tehachapi had such epic Indian food? This is our go-to when we want to eat out and get a nice warm meal to fill us up. Food is great, service is great and you can’t beat how much you get for the price. Highly recommend!”
