“This is a great family owned and operated restaurant on the edge of downtown Tehachapi. Our extended family have been dining here for several years, and it continues to be an outstanding Japanese restaurant. All of the workers and members of the family were friendly and appreciative. Lots of variety, without driving to Los Angeles or San Francisco. The mochi portions were small and quite overpriced. The restrooms were clean, but used for storage. Otherwise, we will continue to dine here,“
“We have decided this is now our go to sushi spot. You will notice it doesn't smell like fish when you walk in, (which it shouldn't), plus it's very clean & updated, unlike another popular place in town. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the place to go. I recommend ordering everything you want at once, otherwise you will be there for a long time. The owners & employees are very nice & the fish is great & seems very fresh, plus we don't like seaweed, so they always make our rolls on soy paper. I forgot to take more photos, but here's one.“
“Wow, I ate dinner here tonight and I really enjoyed my sushi roll. I had the Tempura Shrimp roll. The service was excellent and very helpful in choosing what to order. If you're looking for a great meal, that's fresh and inexpensive...this is the place!“
