Let me start by saying Laura is an exceptional manager. We dined at Gaspar's Restaurant last Saturday with my in-laws. It was my wife's birthday and we had made plans to enjoy Altisima months in advance but because we weren't members we could not make reservations. There was a long wait and my mother-in-law is handicapped. We looked for seating on the lawn to take in the breathtaking view and enjoy some wine but there wasn't enough seating for our group of five. Laura came to the rescue and to make a long story short, we were fully accommodated. Her grace and professionalism made the entire night a wonderful celebratory occasion. Gaspar, your manager gets it and for that reason alone we will not hesitate to return.

Might be the best chicken sandwiches in the valley. Good service and well priced comparatively

We came on a Saturday to celebrate our anniversary and got a few glasses of wine and some apps. It was a very windy day but it was still nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The wines were great and the appetizers were a good size. The flavors of the appetizers were good but the jamon Serrano could have used butter or cheese from the bread as it was a little dry! The calamari was amazing and very lightly breaded. We would order it again!

I've been here several times and always bring people from out of town here - love the ambience, food and experience. Today was the total opposite- we had terrible service from the start to the end. I had to ask 2 different people to call our server before he arrived at our table - 15 min after sitting down. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine - our food arrived before the bottle. When I mentioned this he said "the bar is busy". Never mind the people next to us who were seated after us got their sangria cocktails within 5 min of ordering. I asked for honey for my coffee- I was given honeycomb which was yuk and I was charged for this. This is a tiny bit of what happened.

The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, our server was awesome always seemed to know what was needed before we had to ask. The views from the outdoor dining are fabulous.

This restaurant is inside Altisima winery. We ordered the gambas appetizer and the sauce was delicious, the shrimp tasted pretty fresh. We also got the chicken sandwich and it just tasted like a typical sandwich with bacon, avocado, tomato and lettuce. No special sauce or anything. If you order wine, the pour will be big. This restaurant was on the expensive side as the total was $78 before tip for two glasses of wine, chicken sandwich and one appetizer. I enjoyed my time here and the nice view and likely will be back.

We were lookin for a winery that had a good menu too and decided to try this place out. At first impression, we loved the open patio and views. It was followed by friendly service and delicious wines and food. To start, we ordered a couple glasses of white wine, a flight of sangrias and a froze - all so yum! Onto the apps, we had: charcuterie - so good, loved the unique flavor additions and the amount they give you, truffle fries - I mean, can you ever go wrong with these?! We ordered a burger and a couple of chicken sandwiches - all were so good and large portions. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Excellent food and service. Views are breathtaking. Ended up ordering the Altisima Burger, Fried Calamari which were both great choices.

Gaspar's is a beautiful restaurant in the Altisima Winery, overlooking the Temecula wine country. My husband and I had the Catalan Gambas, Patatas Bravas, Calamares Fritos, Altisima's Seasonal Salad, and the Gaspar's Steak. We also has sangria and wine. The food and drinks were amazing. The ambiance was romantic and beautiful. The only reason I give this place four stars, is because the server was very inattentive. We sat for about 20 minutes before she got our drink orders and said hello. We had to flag her down multiple times for our orders. The other server near us was extremely attentive to her tables, so I think it was just a fluke. Maybe our waitress was just having a bad day. Either way, the food was worth the wait.

Went on a Saturday early afternoon. Very busy. A bridal shower and birthday were taken place outside.

Get the Catalan Gambas! In fact, I got them twice. I got them for a lunch appetizer and got another to go. They are amazing. The view was awesome, the staff was helpful and polite, and they even have misting fans on the patio in case it gets too hot. Definitely will be going back. The only issue I had was the steak was not a good cut of steak, but my wife had a great cut, so maybe I just got unlucky. I had awesome Cab Sav, so I didn't really care so much about the food if I'm being honest. Everything else was great.

Great views and great service!A highlight to this place would be the “get here and prepare to wait” which can be paired with a wine tasting.Tapas Tapas Tapas. They are anything but small plates but taste good nonetheless. Order sparingly.Lots of refreshing drinks so be sure to try them.Service note: Eli was exceptional and attentive. Made enjoying our afternoon celebration even more enjoyable.

The Mrs. and I had lunch at Gaspar's Restaurant today. We arrived shortly after 11. The weather was just north of 90 degrees, but the patio at Gaspar's was very inviting. The view was incredible and the misters combined with the steady breeze made dining outside tolerable. Shawnece, our amazing server, arrived to take our order. We were still trying to figure out what to eat so we ordered our drinks. The Mrs. ordered the Sangria Flight and I ordered a glass of the of the Grenacha. For our food, Shawnece suggested the calamari. It was a great way to start our meal and probably the best calamari I've ever had. I would say that ordering the calamari at Gaspar's is a must. We also ordered the Jamon Serrano Wrapped Burrata. Another must at Gaspar's. Rich creamy burrata wrapped in salty ham served with arugula and crostini. The bitterness of the arugula married with the burrata and the ham made for an incredible flavor profile. We also ordered the VERY ADDICTING Patatas Bravas. I called them the devil's work they were that good. Just for digestive purposes we also ordered the Espinaca Salad. A beautifully refreshing salad topped with candied walnuts, crispy pancetta, Gorgonzola cheese, and apples tossed in an herbed vinaigrette.Gaspar's is located at Altisima Winery. They only take reservations for wine club members and large parties. So be prepared for a long wait on the weekends. If you're looking great food, great service, and a great view, Check out Gaspar's.
