We love this place for the food and atmosphere. An old school dinning experience where the Chef himself will usually come out and great their guests and make special recommendations.The Lamb Chops are my absolute favorite, and while I'm obviously not a vegan, they have a large vegan menu that my vegan friends love!During these uncertain times, we've used their take out service numerous times, with outstanding results. All in all, one of our very favorite places to eat in Old Town.

We had the Sangiovese wine from Temecula, which was delicious and paired well with the charred octopus. Well-cooked octopus is meaty but not chewy and Soro's understands that. I had the falafel plate and my friend had the chicken kebab plate. The salad was good but the rice was a little dry so with the falafel it needed something more than the tahini - perhaps the addition of a side of tzatziki would have been good. We waited 50 minutes for a to go order that was supposed to be 15-20 minutes. The chicken schwarma was probably the worst I've had. The babaghanoush was on the lower end as well. The chicken curry was good. Hummus was OK. The staff was friendly but didn't care to compensate for the extremely long wait.
