The app shows terrible offers for this elitist location, which has meals that are price gouged over $11, a la carte items over $5. Obviously, this location only cares to cater to the ruling elites rather than serving blue-collar workers living on a budget

This El Pollo local location not only has the best El Pollo Loco food, but also the best service! The people who provide the service at the Wendy Drive,, Newberry Park, El Pollo Loco location are the best!!! I called them during a very busy time at dinner, to do a pre-order for the morning. It was a large order. The lady, Blanca, who took my order, was so patient, very kind, and helpful. I always like going to this particular El Pollo Loco, the most because the people are great and they make the El Pollo Loco food the best! Thank you.

The parking lot needs work, and the soda fountain usually has a couple spigots that aren't working, but the food here is always great and the service is fast so I'm out of there in just a few minutes. And it's the only place where I can get soup on a cold day in this area, which I highly recommend!

Great food and pretty good people but I'm afraid they need a manager here that are causes the store to open on time and not close early. When the hours day post is open or wrong, it makes you a question the quality of the food also.

Went through the drive through tonight. Apple Maps and El pollo Loco website for this Newbury park location says it closes at 10pm. I pulled in the drive thru at 9:40pm. An employee walks out and says they're closed. I'm only ordering food for myself. So either change your restaurant hours to say close at 9:30 pm or this male employee lied to me and just wanted to go home. I get it they were probably cleaning up and just wanted to go home. But your business hours are open until 10pm. Pull up your boot laces and do your job. Everyone has to work out here.
Used the drive up window and had a coupon. There are usually two cars ahead of me.But the service is pretty quick.The food is great. Although i feel they are to high priced.The chicken tortilla soup is delicious! They are good with applying your coupon to your order which matters to me.

$31 for an 8 piece family meal. They gave me one half filled dressing cup for the large salad. Requested another one and they want to charge me $.79. I understand that nothing is free but the amount they gave was not adequate.Way to go, you lost my business forever! Idiots.
