“Make a trip out of it, trust me :) Topanga Canyon itself is a magical place and the Canyon Bakery is a part of its charm. This place has absolutely delicious sweet & savory baked goods and breads, a warm, welcoming energy and a great place to sit and enjoy your treats. From the talented baker behind the window, a wonderful person taking your orders, Dave greeting and helping you decide what treat will hit your fancy for the morning and locals & visitors alike- everyone there is lovely.The Canyon Bakery is only open Sunday 9- sell out (and they will!) and for pickups on Friday (order by Monday), and well worth a making it a destination for either (or both to be honest) of those days!As a regular topanga visitor, the canyon bakery had been high on my list to try and I’ll be back next Sunday and most going forward! I had their cinnamon roll which came to me warm, I was completely surprised & delighted, and an egg potato cheese tart w/salad (and they kept great as leftovers!). “Cute spot for a roadside pitstop in Topanga. The place was busy, with a range of groups including families and dates. We had lunch and ordered two personal (6 inch) pizzas and some fries. The fries were delish and the pizza was good too. The decor added to the atmosphere and was funky and upbeat. I liked the disco balls and light fixtures. There’s seating both indoors and on the patio. Our food was made-to order and didn’t take too long to arrive. We would eat here again when in the area.Parking: The parking lot was busy, slightly tight, and shared with other businesses in the complex, but still had a few choices of spots available“

“Great, classic, California Pizza Kitchen location.Nothing better or worse than an average CPK, but inside the mall so convenient stop during/at the end of a long day of shopping. Strangely enough, their West Coast Burger is actually amazing, but their pizza and pasta options are solid too“

“It was our 1st time there. Smaller than it looks in pics so I'd say it's a quaint place. Only a couple beer choices but decent amount of wine choices. The food is shareable which I prefer. “I brought my coworkers here a few weeks ago for a company team lunch and everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the food! The portions were large and plentiful, so much so that we were super full and still had leftovers to take home. My favorite dish was the kale salad, which was surprisingly flavorful. The pizzas were also great!I contacted OSPI ahead of time to make a large party reservation, opting for the lunch time prix fixe menu. The whole process was super smooth, and they were very helpful in helping me choose appropriate dishes based on the dietary restrictions of our group (we had vegetarians and gluten free people, both of whom were accomodated).My only critique is that the food took quite a while to come out at the start. I expected it to be out sooner since we had a reservation and had ordered a fixed menu, but after being seated, we still had to wait a decent amount, so we were quite hungry. After that, the pacing of the meals could've been slightly faster, but it's understandable because of the large party servings. “Excellent food! Service is usually very good, but our last visit was extremely rushed. It made for an unpleasant experience. If they want guests to leave by 10 they should not except reservations after 8:30 PM. People should not be forced to eat fast at high prices.“

“We’ve just visited the newly reopened Andre’s but the verdict is that Grandi Italiani is the best! Big tasty portions just like OG Andre’s. Best chicken parm you can get along with tasty meat-packed sauce with the best salad dressing. Excellent toast as well. Aron is definitely making Andre proud.“

My husband and I were looking to order from a pizza place other than the big name chains ... we had the supreme 12 inch and it was perfect ! It tasted fresh and the crust was just right ! “Visited venice beach for the first time and ate here twice. The service is excellent, you sit well inside and outside (the patio) and the food is delicious! Especially the bread with garlicy oil which you receive before every meal is amazing!!! I recommend the pasta arriabbiata! Al dente, spicy, yummy! Would definitely come back again!“

“I know this pizzeria for about 6 years. They have the best pizza in Winnetka, if I don’t exaggerate they have the best Persian pizza in Los Angeles. Every time I have a party, it doesn’t matter birthday party or just having my friends over for a football or basketball game, everyone ask me to order some cheese or pepperoni pizza from Thyme. We all recommend this place. Next time instead of ordering pizza from Domino’s or Papa Jons, try Thyme Pizzeria. You won’t regret. Also they have this heart shaped pizza which is good for special occasions like Valentine’s Day or anniversary.Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian. But I believe that if this place offers a fully vegan menu, vegetarians can find lots of vegetarian options. I’m not sure if they allow substitutions on their vegan menu it. But it doesn’t hurt to ask. Definitely, they have tons of vegetarian food.Dietary restrictions: They have another menu a full vegan menu with bunch of vegan specialty pizzas, vegan pastas, vegan appetizers, and vegan desserts.Also they offer gluten-free and cauliflower gluten-free pizzas. “FANTASTIC pizza place. Pizza is as NY as you can get without actually being in NY. Service is EVEN BETTER! My pizza ended up overcooked. Instead of just fobbing it off onto me, the owner brought it out, showed it to me and asked if I want it or if I'd like another. He made me another and still offered me the other pie to take home. Truly unique experience for a pizza shop as busy as this one.These guys obviously care about making delicious pizza...and that's a rare thing nowadays. So go experience it for yourself.“

“We have been meaning to try Lucky's Pizza for some time and finally got there yesterday. The only regret is that we did not get there sooner!! My husband is from New Jersey, and he said the pizza was among the best he has ever had. Thin crust, beautiful crisp, fresh ingredients, plenty of toppings. We had The Dom and it did not disappoint. The Spicy Mango sauce has a bite, so introduce it gradually to your pizza. Old time dough tossing pizza making at its best. We will be regular customers.“

“Calling in and speaking to Sal is like when I would talk to the radio DJ as a kid. He made me feel special and answered all my questions and I hung up thrilled full of pure adrenaline. “I requested on my booking and in person from the hostess not to be seated next to the door. It's always drafty and uncomfortable, yet we have been sitting next to the door. Also, the tables have been side ways - what makes the space between the party far away from each other. We came only 6 people and I couldn't make a conversation past my son who set next to me. Other than that, Kevin our waiter was great and food was delicious as always.“

“Truly a hidden gem! I don't usually post reviews but I have to tell people about this place! Dropped in with a couple friends. I had the pappardelle bolognese. Fresh pasta made in the house! My friend had the Pollo Limone (lemon chicken). She loved it! My other friend had the Dover sole special with the lemon mustard dressing and the server debone the fish at the table! So cool! Our server (Jessica, if I heard correctly) was gracious and in good spirits considering how busy it was. “This place is the Mecca of pizza! A great place to bring your family to split a pie, a Caesar salad, chicken wings, and a calzone... They make the crust to such a perfection that you would think there are scientist working in the back. The best part, their beers are always serve cold in a chilled cup on draft. “INCREDIBLE. First time trying this place. So, I grabbed two slices: the meatball and the pepperoni. I started with the meatball and OH MAN, what an introduction! The meatballs were presented like pieces of sausage on the pizza, so if you're thinking about huge meatballs on the pizza, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but no worries! The flavors of the slice, saved the day! Aside from the meatballs, it had tomato (not overpowering, at all), mozzarella, roasted red peppers, Fresno Chili, and Ricotta. “Fabrocini is located on the Venture strip in Tarzana, and though parking is available on the street, they also have a small section in the back. If the back is full, try and exit for the cheapest option, since there is a sectioned off area for VALET. Our server was extremely attentive, responsive, and easy to chat with. Jokingly after having a moment with the menu, I asked about their secret menu and didn't know it was a thing... I ended up ordering a Chicken Artichoke pasta, and it was AMAZING. The chicken was tender and the juices really sank in. The artichokes and greens were tasty, and the pasta was crisp and went down easy. Of course, Italian wouldn't be complete without bread and oil + balsamic, which I had stuffed myself with. Our group also ordered a Chianti wine, and it was a tasty botte. The wine was not too bold but not too sweet, a good balance of both worlds and well enjoyed throughout the duration of a two-hour meal - will definitely be returning!“

“Spruzzo is a hidden gem in Pacific Palisades. The ambience is very soothing and the service is exceptional. Everyone ordered a different salad to start and they were all delicious. If there's a brick and mortar shop, I would definitely visit it if I was in the area. “Their smoothies are the best. The quality of the fruits and vegetables they use is awesome and the price is amazing. I have tried almost their entire menu in the past couple years and everything is better than the last. The owner is so nice. He really listens to you and remembers your order. I asked him to make me something off menu because I wanted something sour, asked me a few questions and 5 minutes later gave me the best drink I have ever had. He has such a big heart. “I adore this amazing eatery. My favorite thing is the Ricotta & Orange Blossom Honey toast. The bread is crunchy, thick, grilled and fullof flavor. The extremely thick layer of high quality ricotta has such a delicate sweeness. Topped with toasted sesame seeds that add not only texture but a slight nuttiness that perfectly compliments the ricotta. And then the piece de resistance is the perfect drizzle of local orange blossom honey it adds the peefect end note to this lucious dish. I love eating there as well. Everyone is so friendly. “This place is a bit far from all the traffic of people. We were the first customers for the night. Once we sat, people kept coming to look at the menu as we ate. I kept giving them thumbs up. The place got super full. The food was super incredible. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. If you are dining, I highly recommend the Portola fries... they are excellent. This is the second place I ordered them from. They are excellent. Your taste buds will explode. The Mediterranean salad was amazing. The Rosemary potatoes are excellent. The salami in the pizza was just ok. I think it needs a different type of salamy and a bit of salt, not too much on the dough. Otherwise, it was good. The calamari was excellent. We were so full that we did not have any dessert or tea. Next time, I hope the pizza gets improved and that the size is too small for price. The ambiance of the place was very nice.
